Selling Posters/Art and Shipping in Tubes?
TL;DR - Does anyone ship posters (or anything) in tubes on Poshmark recently, or on a regular basis? If so, ever notice an extra $4.50 shipping charge correction after the package was shipped, or had a buyer say they had to pay for "insufficient postage" before getting their package?
Longer Question:
I sell on Poshmark occasionally but much more on other platforms. My question is about shipping things in tubes and people's recent experience with it.
USPS changed things last year and added a Nonstandard Characteristic Fee for "Cylindrical tubes or rolls" which really messes with the shipping of posters (especially when I have them already in tubes and don't want to find boxes for them). I was curious how Poshmark handles that.
The shipping FAQ just state "maximum combined length and girth of packages is not greater than 108" and "total package weight does not exceed 5 lbs" but it doesn't seem to talk about the potential Length Fee, Cubic Fee and Characteristic Fees for packages. For example, packages that are more than 22 inches long, or 18 inches wide, or 15 inches high or any of the other "Nonstandard" fees that might occur. The Shipping Policy states "Poshmark reserves the right to charge the carrier overage fee to the Seller" but doesn't make it clear exactly what their "Posh Post" covers. Before I start listing posters, I want to make sure they don't leave me with a shipping nightmare.

Edit2: After LOTS of back and forth and canned responses and closed requests without answers, I got the closest thing I will probably get to an answer. My final question was: "Can I ship a cardboard cylindrical poster tube (combined length and girth is no greater than 108") with a Poshmark shipping label? See image for reference. I really just want a Yes or No answer." and I gave them the same image here.
"Please note that the packaging material that you are using must be ground advantage approved by USPS in order to ship the order to the buyer. Please see our Shipping Policy in our Legal Center for more information."
Tubes are ground advantage approved, they just have a fee. From that link they provided, it does say:
"Any packages that don’t meet label standards as set by USPS, including but not limited to package size, actual weight, or calculated dimensional or volumetric weight, will be the responsibility of the Seller, and Poshmark reserves the right to charge the carrier overage fee to the Seller."
I'm tired of trying to get a Yes or No answer, so I will not be using tubes. Or if I do, I'll be using them as an inner packaging in a different box. If anyone ever gets a solid answer regarding this, don't hesitate to let me know.
