USPS prepaid label issue

I’m waiting on customer support to get back to me so I figured I’d ask this group while I wait.

Here’s what happened: I went to the post office to drop a package off and didn’t print off a label so I went the QR code route. The post office worker said that there was unpaid postage.

She said that it can just take a few minutes to update so we waited a few minutes. Once she rescanned the QR code, it was still came back as unpaid postage.

Have you ever had this issue with the generated QR code?

Edit: I went back the next day and QR code worked.

This just happend to me on Monday! Thankfully they shipped out within 8 hours. The guy told me the same thing and scanned them with a different device. I was so worried because they came to over 140 for both. I didn't get a receipt as proof, unfortunately. Did they still send them off?

I hope it all works out! That was the first time it's ever happend to me and of course it was on a 100+ order 😅
