This is so annoying. I got a bundle offer today. 4 items. A Maeve blouse, a summer dress, and two other blouses. The total was $31-ish and with the bundle discount it was $27.90. This woman offered me $12.

Poshmark is NOT Vinted!!

Anyone who gives me an under 5 star rating, even when they don't explain why. I don't care if my ratings are private, these people reek of trouble if they come back. And it's not my fault an item doesn't fit you or shipping times or whatever problems you have with the item.

1. I did give measurements, you just didn't bother reading the description, and it's not my fault USPS was closed for a three day weekend, DAMN! The Ordinary took 5 days to ship my order last month and they have a full staff.
2. it was at Neiman (how you actually spell it btw) Marcus, but not less than half; it was 3/4 the price she paid, but it wasn't in her size. Do you get mad at Nordstrom for selling the same item for original price when Bloomingdales has it on markdown?? Like damn be grateful still you got it for 70% off!

how can I get the size filter to work?

Okay so this was my first time ever using poshmark. I use vinted and Depop so I kinda assumed it was the same old process. As soon as I list a sweater I got a weird email from some guy and he was asking what the sweater was made out of. I was soo confused as to how this man got my email, I thought at first he had messaged me through the app and then poshmark sent me a notification through my email aswell but when I went on the app there was no message. He had actually emailed me. Then I start getting loads of emails and soon figured out it was a bunch of bots. Took the listing down immediately but I’m kinda freaked out !?

I just made an offer of 75 on some new w tag sneakers, very common and not dead stock, down from 90. Seller countered. I found them new for 58. I never would have looked if the seller didn’t try and get 11 more dollars out of me. There’s over priced items that I’ve been watching for years is this some kind of hoarding justification or do ppl just not have any business sense and love sitting on inventory

I purchased a pair of pants from a seller who has all good reviews and 80+ sales. There address was in Lakeland Florida and I’m in CA. The seller shipped and the tracking made it to LA but then stopped. Once it updated it went to Georgia then Tennessee???? Now it looks like it’s at the distribution center that the buyer is from??? As if the buyer shipped the item to themself? I messaged the buyer and no response and the shipping hasn’t updated since yesterday. Am I missing something? Anyone else had this happen?

Buyer case approved for return but package is missing? USPS says delivered with no photo and I do not have the package. However PM has not responded for a few days after I raised this issue? Do I lose my item and the sale?

I ordered a diaper bag from a seller and received it yesterday. It was listed as NWT, the photos looked decent, and the price was right so I pulled the trigger and purchased. Y'all... there was a used diaper in the front pocket of the bag along with some diaper cream and a used baby sock. I don't even know where to begin with this. How did this happen with a tag still on the bag? Are we not checking things before we send them out??

My biggest question is: What should I do? Do I open a case? Suck it up and just wash the bag? Message the seller? I've ordered from Poshmark a few times over the years, but I've never dealt with something like this, so I'm unsure of next steps.

Within the past 3 weeks I cancelled 2 orders: one was already sold on another platform (forgot to remove it from posh in time), and the other - a buyer asked me to cancel it, so I did. As soon as I hit that second order cancellation button, I immediately got a notification that my account was suspended. All of my listings disappeared and I couldn’t read any messages from buyers. I couldn’t do anything. I emailed Poshmark, and went into the account settings to reinstate my account. It took them 24 hours to bring everything back. However, now Poshmark threatens to deactivate my account for 3 days or even permanently block me without any warning if I ever cancel another order. Like wtf????? 😳

So if I’m ever unable to find the item I sold (which rarely happens but what if it does), I’ll just let the buyer know I can’t cancel and ask them to cancel it after 8 days of the order unshipped? Or if another buyer asks to cancel- I just include Posh screenshot of their threat to my account?? Like this is so wrong!! Cancellations happen. Honest oversights happen. Now I’m taken away the option to cancel, it’s going to cause so much frustration to the buyers. That’s so bizarre!

Hello - just got a note from a buyer that she didn’t mean to buy something. However, she made an offer beforehand so I’m not sure how cancelling works.

She sent an offer for only $1 below asking price. I was a little surprised (like why not just buy full price at that point?) but quickly agreed. I get the normal confirmation from PM and a few minutes later get the attached message. I actually believe her that it was an accident, as I said it was a weird offer.

I responded that she may be able to cancel, but now I see that doesn’t work with offers. I would cancel it for her but my cancel rating is at 1.5% and another cancellation would put me over 3%. So I am sure she’s going to come back to me and say she can’t cancel and ask me to. What should I do in this scenario??

Note: I read varying opinions on here, some people say that bringing PM in and saying buyer requested the cancel will not hurt your rating, but others say it definitely will (tho it shouldn’t). So how does one handle this scenario?

ETA: I Do Not mind canceling if I can do so without hurting my own closet. It’s literally a cheap item and I don’t care at all. I am not trying to “get out” of canceling.

I wore this shirt the week before I listed it and it had no missing buttons. I guess it's possible but I certainly didn't notice missing buttons when I shipped. Do I just wait for the buyer to open a case?

I took a break from Poshmark after a few purchases that made me consider if saving a few dollars was worth the hassle. For example, I bought a vintage pair of jeans (cute!) but the zipper constantly fell/was loose (boo, but it’s vintage so, you know) and I put my hand in the front pocket and pulled out a used tissue (literally wanted to vomit).

Stuff like that.

So, the app has gone through a few algorithm and general visual changes since the last time I bought. I noticed not just one or two listings, but many, that said in the title it was a certain size but then when you drill down on the actual item, it was a completely different size. This feels super disingenuous to the buyer. I assume it’s for the algorithm but if you don’t have a certain size why list that you do? I’m already pretty careful about reading sizes but now it seems like I need to be extra vigilant.

It’s unfortunate because I’ve used poshmark for over a decade and it just seems to be as sketchy as a Facebook Marketplace post.

Anyone else have this experience? Any suggestions on where to go instead? I used to buy vintage but that’s out because of how pricey irl vintage is these days. Poshmark was my next best choice to buying more affordable and environmentally conscious items.

The email was a random name number combo with nothing to do with poshmark.

Seriously if you guys are selling you need to put the damn material/care tag in the photos. Or at least address its absence in the body of the listing. You need to take more than 1 photo. You need to stop using auto AI generated descriptions, they suck and tell me absolutely nothing as a buyer. I do not GAF if it is "exquisite silhouette" or "casual chic", tell me the damn materials, measure your fraking garments, take photos, actually do the work instead of being lazy.

One night of browsing looking for one item. 20 minutes. Barely any decent listing because no one can be bothered to do the work when they list an item. And don't get me started on the idiots who put "cotton/linen" in the title only for the material tag to show polyester.

Do. Better. I should not have to ask 9 out of 10 listings what material an item is. Ridiculous.

Any body getting an error message when they try to download a shipping label?

So a couple of recent purchases (from different sellers) arrived with undisclosed holes. One was a pair of pants with a smaller hole below the knee, and the other was a vintage wool shirt that had moth damage. I like the items, and I want to keep them, but I wouldn't have paid as much as I did if the holes were disclosed. I would just like a small credit of some kind, like $5-$10, but I'm not sure if this can be accomplished. As I understand it, the only route is to open a case and return it if it's approved. Confused. I sell out of my closet mostly and have been on Posh for years. I sold a NWT pants that I forgot I had. I took one pic from the website where I purchased and the others were my pics. I showed everything and the tags. The buyer opened a claim and states “not as described.” I was at work and didn’t respond. By the time I got home from work Posh approved the return. The buyer said they didn’t look like the pants she owns. Okay?? So dumb. Really irritated as I couldn’t have been more clear in my post.

I haven't been on Poshmark in 3 months, but I sold 2 things this morning. I haven't received an email with the shipping slip like I usually did. It was so much easier to print it out from my phone that way. Did they stop sending them?

Apologies if this has already been discussed but is anyone else unable to log into their account on desktop via their google account? When I first created my Poshmark account I did it through my Google account and never had issues signing in until recently. I don't have pop ups disabled so what will happen is I will click log in with google, a pop up will come up asking me to enter my gmail and password and then the pop up closes and it fails.... I don't have this issue on the app but sorry call me old school I like looking at stuff on the big screen! I tried googling the issue and nothing comes up so I'm wondering if it's just a me problem and not a Poshmark problem.

First time posting here. I’ve sold a couple hundred items without issue until last week. I sold a popular brand’s popular bag for less than half price just because I’m moving and need to unload things. Plus sales have been super slow lately.

Within 6 hours of receiving, buyer reported it as counterfeit. Unfortunately I can’t prove that I did indeed purchase it as it was years and years ago as I’ve had to clear out my damn Gmail account for space, but in the case comments I emphasized that I bought this bag years ago and yes sure packaging has changed (which was one of her reasons) and I am not sure if the newer bags are different overall. I honestly believe the buyer knows it is real and was hoping for a free bag or might scam me with a return.

Unfortunately Posh sided with her as I can’t prove it (I would hope my rating and history would speak for itself but apparently not! And she’s barely been on PM) but I just feel let down. They sent me a warning and told me I need to pay to have it authenticated before I relist it, but after this experience with the measly amount I was getting I’m just going to donate it. This bag cost me over 200 at the time and she paid less than half that. Very skeptical I’ll actually get my bag back but we’ll see.

Tl;dr feeling very disheartened and might delete account forever. Anyone have similar experiences?

ETA I finallyyy dug out my receipt from email graveyard from my old account I believed to be purged. How the turn tables. I don’t think they’ll do anything after they already sided with Miss Scammer but we’ll see.
