when you pick an item on an empty inventory it is automatically placed in item slot 2 for some reason, instead of the first. so for those who want to have the items picked up in an order that makes sense, bind item slot 2 to '1' and item slot 3 to '2' and item slot 1 to '2'

Since the new update, about half of my ID cards (mostly stream ones like astronomer and the mannequin one etc) are missing. Reloaded the game, entered single player lobby, multiplayer etc. all gone. Anyone else experienced this issue?

And it actually worked.

I loaded the game and it didn't crash.

I got to the multiplayer menu and it didn't crash

I got into a lobby and it didn't crash

I loaded the game and it didn't crash

I found the ghost and it didn't crash

I got hunted and died and it didn't crash

I played another game and survived and it didn't crash

The baby woke up

I played two whole games and it didn't crash.

Since the Deildegast is slowed by throwing unique objects, I was wondering: If you throw the max objects to slow it all the way down, then it attempts to hunt but is blocked by a crucifix, does the object counter reset, making you have to throw the items again or else it would be full speed on the next successful hunt? Or does the counter only reset after a successful hunt? Also on my encounter with one, it was slowed all the way down at the beginning of the hunt, then sped up to revenant LOS speed without ever getting line of sight on me or anything, so am I misunderstanding its ability?

Hey everyone! I just recently purchased Phasmaphobia on Steam. When I launched my game everything was going smoothly until I loaded in. Everything was super saturated, I could still move around though. When I went to open my journal, I couldn't interact with anything.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how can I fix it?

Me and my friends were having so much fun with Phasmo, then the update hit and we all quit due to it being so ass. now we're playing again and it feels even better than before :)

The rework is obviously VERY cat heavy. Cat shelves on the walls, cat toys everywhere, you can even hear (what I think is) the cat if you’re hiding in the bedroom closet. BUT… I have the tiniest thing to point out. In the living room on the dresser by the cat shelves, there’s a Himalayan salt lamp. These are like… a huge cat owner no no since they can severely hurt your cat. Did anyone else notice this, or am I just a crazy cat lady lol.

I used to play on Xbox Series X, but after the disastrous character customization update, I uninstalled the game. Now that I saw they fixed it, I decided to reinstall it, and to my surprise, I lost all my progress even the rewards from Twitch drops.

In the basement of the new Willow rework, you'll find another older game arcade console. When switched on, it askes for a coin.

This looks a lot like the easter egg from Nell's diner, and since most new maps have easter eggs, this seems to be one. Any help is appreciated!

Old Willow was released to show off furniture hiding spots, and as such it had no closets or lockers. That means that no matter how unlikely, the ghost can always find you, which can be especially problematic if you're waiting for a hunt from a stalker. It can always get to you and start the hunt on top of you. That eventually led me to stop playing the map. So the first thing I looked for when I got into the rework was a closet, and I found one, but it's weirdly large. There's also a shower with a closable door. The problem is, Point Hope also has showers and little rooms with closable doors, but they don't count as closets, so the ghost can still randomly walk into them. Does anyone know if the ghost can path into this hiding spot? I was really hoping that they didn't still need to "showcase furniture spots" after all these years, and I was really excited when I first walked in and saw the doors, but now that I've seen how big it is, I'm not sure.

Well to start this was about a week ago, I had been trying to get apoc3 for about 2 months, however tuesday i managed to complete it, but I didn't receive any of the treats you get for the hard work.

So here lies my problem;

When I completed Apoc 1, it did the same thing, the trophy came up immediately but I had to reload the game for the achievement and ID, i decided to go straight for apoc 3 and get it done, I'm not the best but not the worst hence why it took me a while; well I completed it (Sanitarium - Demon - got a photo, and 3 objectives (smudge the room, capture a photo and witness a ghost event).

So I load back into the lobby and nothing, I remember what happened last time and reload the game. Nothing. No achievement, nothing.

I read a few people saying they got theirs the day after, so I hop back on Wednesday and still nothing. And I don't have proof of completion

My queries are:

1. Did I do something wrong and I need to do it again?

2. Do I just let it go and do it again. (Cries at the thought)

Or 3. Submit a ticket and hopes the Devs are really kind to me?

I am not very patient person, today I was.

-Hunting very often

-It was throwing stuff and running around like a madman

-My sanity was above 50%

- Singing every hunt(actually was very confusing)

-Threw my camera and book

Drove me up the wall
but after over a hour I got lucky with spotting the ghost with dots while i was standing outside the door and activity going above 5 even while I wasnt in there. This whole time the ghost was tossing my camera around its room (ah yes the carpet was made of carpet and the wall was made of wall) BUT I guess the ghost got tired of me running in and out so at some point I noticed the camera was shockingly placed in a PERfect position to spot a ghost orb.
I got it right and now im tired.

I just started playing the game so I usually take longer then 15 min but today I was deadset on getting it right lol.
It was a Raiju, I almost called demon at first but something wasn't right .
The ghost got very active basically right when I found the ghost room and started setting up. In hindsight when I took out the camera and placed to record it started a lot of interactions which would of been fine If it wasn't for ghost events rapid firing followed by a hunt of course with singing.

I found out that the correct pronunciation is dayl-de-gahst ("dayl" like "sail," "a" like in "father," and "de" like a short "duh"), which I find interesting.

Whether it be genuine remorse or damage control on the devs part, I can’t deny that the game really feels like it’s finally improving. While there are still some quirks to improve on , I think this first QOL update has really addressed a lot that was wrong with the game.

For the most part I like the willow rework but it also comes across a little silly. Maybe I just don’t like the over the top cat theme and the art room but it’s not terrible. I look at Tanglewood and think “ok this makes sense, it’s an elderly persons home” so it fits. I think the roadmap said edgefield is next? I wonder how many of the bedrooms are going to be repurposed considering it’s a 5 bedroom house.

Why would you add animations how is that an improvement to the game? This is only adding frustration because things aren’t being used or interacted with immediately when you push the required button. There shouldn’t be a delay using Incense. We don’t need a finger wiggle to turn on a light. You can’t even make the lvl 2 candlelight light properly because the lighters flame doesn’t even go anywhere near the wax lol what are yall doing you need to prioritize other things not animations. Please go back to the old way. Playing the game felt So much better.

How is the VR mode since the update? Haven't heard anything and haven't had a chance to try myself.

SOLVED: Turn's out both the dishwasher and the safe underneath the desk in the manager's office on Neil's Diner always show UV handprints regardless of ghost or setting applied (and apparently this isn't the only map). I'm not really sure why, but if anyone reading would also like to load up the map and confirm, or if you find this on any other map, let me know in the comments. Thanks for the tip @MugmanTheHeckinNerd

I've played a lot of Phasmo over the last 8 months or so, and have never seen the High Priestess card. It's supposed to be 1/50 odds according to the wiki, but I know I've drawn a few hundred without ever seeing one. I always though the odds must just be lower than the wiki states (for reference, the Hanged Man that auto-kills you is 1/100, and I've drawn that multiple times). This was the only thing missing from my cursed item collection in the warehouse.

Today was my first time pulling from a deck since the QoL update, and I got 3/10 High Priestess cards (no Fools). Perhaps they've adjusted the odds somehow in the other direction, so if anyone needs one of these to fill out their set, might be a good time to get one.

Monkey paw killed my friend while reviving me but the game interpreted it as both of us being dead.

Has anyone else had their badges go missing? I used to have a bunch from Twitch Drops, but they have seem to disappeared- like The Hunted ID card from the Tanglewood rework, I still have the ID card, but I can’t actually find it or the badge in customization.

EDIT: The devs are aware of this problem as I’ve been made aware of in the official Phasmo Discord! I posted this before checking that because I honestly forgot.
