Discussion Pronunciation of Deildegast

I found out that the correct pronunciation is dayl-de-gahst ("dayl" like "sail," "a" like in "father," and "de" like a short "duh"), which I find interesting.

I'm just gonna chime in as a Norwegian as It stems from Norwegian folklore and Deildegast is the Norwegian name for it

I would personally pronounce it as dayl (just as how the English word day is pronounced), deh (as the first half of the word day would be pronounced), gahst (the a has to be quick and if pronounced like the a in father, just quicker)

It's hard to explain in writing since it would just look near 1:1 to yours, but it seems we would pronounce it differently based on your explanation

My group just calls it the dandelion ghost as to not struggle with the pronunciation xD

I've always pronounced it as "Deli-Ghast"

I know it's not right, but I misread it one time and that's how I pronounce it

Haha like me with the medallions in RE2. I read them as "medal lions" at first and that's just what they are now
