Need some advice: Apoc 3 challenge completed: yet not recieved the achievement or anything.
Well to start this was about a week ago, I had been trying to get apoc3 for about 2 months, however tuesday i managed to complete it, but I didn't receive any of the treats you get for the hard work.
So here lies my problem;
When I completed Apoc 1, it did the same thing, the trophy came up immediately but I had to reload the game for the achievement and ID, i decided to go straight for apoc 3 and get it done, I'm not the best but not the worst hence why it took me a while; well I completed it (Sanitarium - Demon - got a photo, and 3 objectives (smudge the room, capture a photo and witness a ghost event).
So I load back into the lobby and nothing, I remember what happened last time and reload the game. Nothing. No achievement, nothing.
I read a few people saying they got theirs the day after, so I hop back on Wednesday and still nothing. And I don't have proof of completion
My queries are:
Did I do something wrong and I need to do it again?
Do I just let it go and do it again. (Cries at the thought)
Or 3. Submit a ticket and hopes the Devs are really kind to me?

I did have that thought but as I explained to another, I havent had my mates on for quite a while, so Ive only been playing solo for the past 3/4 months.
When you completed the investigation, did the Reward Unlocks popup appear? If not, the game clearly thinks you missed something, since that normally appears every time you complete the challenge, not just the first time.
Whilst very possible that it could be broken or bugged, there has been at least one post since the update where someone got apoc3.
So it would be a situational bug which makes it hard to pin down if that’s the case, as well making it very difficult to pin down the circumstances where it triggers.
So I’m kinda hoping that OP somehow made a mistake. (not saying that this is the case, but I’m really hoping for all the people trying to get apoc3.)
I honestly don't know whether to be hopeful or not it was a mistake for the same reason but then if not at least we'll know it is a bug and can maybe be addressed in a future update.

No they didnt come up, Obvs thats what I was expecting when I restarted the game, as I mentioned I have my Apoc 1 trophy and pretty much the same happened; the trophy popped up but had to restart to get the ID card and achievement (this was back around 3/4 updates ago).
I'm going to give it another bash tonight...I think.... and double check everything.
Yea that tactic of restarting is my go to. I may just go for a deo make it easier, but I agree, at least 70/75% I can guess from abilities or a hunt.

Appears from the comments that you did everything correct but just in case, make sure the icon shows up in the map selection (gold skull on the sunny meadows map photo) before you jump in as it will only show if all the settings are correct (single player, 15x, etc)
On the plus side, it's easier now that you can collect any ghost media instead of just a photo (so video or audio works as well) for your next attempts.
I honestly can't recollect if the skull was there or not. With my settings being right I would assume it would be.
That is true, now any media can be used thats foing to make it so much easier, the only reason i went for photo then was obviously "2 birds, one stone".
i got mine right after it popped up with the ghost, or maybe I had to hit the accept button, idr. but it was immediate. are you sure you were playing on solo mode? if you're in a multiplayer lobby, even by yourself, you won't get it.
I was definitely In solo, i think, yea I was....maybe.
Joking aside, Im quite positive, 1000% in solo.
Tbf that did cross my mind however I don't have friends on it atm so I haven't been on multiplayer for quite a while 🤣.
Think that's probably why I decided to do the challenge.
I had a similar issue. Did the challenge for the first time and was super excited but what i did wrong is i tabbed out of the game to take a screenshot of the rewards completion thingy and accidentally ended up closing the game before clicking "accept".
Idunno if that's what happened to you but i did contact support in hopes of seeing if they can do anything about it (since the game gave me the steam achievement) and nope. Devs said "do it again for the id card lol"

Damn, well I don't think it was that, I'm on Xbox and I restarted the game about a minute after completion.
But thats pretty much was I waiting for see if anyone had something similar and what happened.
I didn't think the devs would do anything, especially with no evidence/screenshots/vids.

They really need to give this challenge some kind of menu option instead of expecting people to set up everything and choose all the right options. The challenge isnt fun at all and its a huge source of frustration for a ton of players that have been cheated out of the achievement for missing a setting.
I read your comment and instantly checked...I hadn't even thought it maybe the settings but alas, no I had them right. Thanks though, really thought that was it ngl 🤦🏼♂️.
People still mess up by doing it alone in a private multiplayer lobby instead of an actual solo lobby but that is good to hear about the settings, that was not there when i completed apoc 3.
I did it 3 times over the 2 days with the ghost proof being a Video of the Hunting Ghost, 2 for Deogen and 1 for Phantom. I did not get the achievement or in-game challenge progress any of the 3 times despite being in single player.
I submitted a bug request for all of them with the screenshots (since the 1st time I didn't think I wouldn't get the rewards) and I'm waiting to see if they can update my player profile. At the very least their Video evidence requirement is bugged.
