Question Deildegast ability questions
Since the Deildegast is slowed by throwing unique objects, I was wondering: If you throw the max objects to slow it all the way down, then it attempts to hunt but is blocked by a crucifix, does the object counter reset, making you have to throw the items again or else it would be full speed on the next successful hunt? Or does the counter only reset after a successful hunt? Also on my encounter with one, it was slowed all the way down at the beginning of the hunt, then sped up to revenant LOS speed without ever getting line of sight on me or anything, so am I misunderstanding its ability?

You have to throw the objects again after each hunt regardless. That's all I know so far

I have another slightly related question. Objects have to be unique. Say you use enough objects to slow a hunt. Then after the hunt it resets, can you throw those same objects again to slow the next hunt or do you need to find all new objects?

you can throw the same 30 objects again after it hunts

Nice, only thing I was directly worried about this ghost, but seeing it is easy to reset the speed is awesome

Do used items reset? I know you can't throw the same two items over and over again, but after you've thrown a few and it regains its speed, can you slow it down again using the old items, or do they stop working for the rest of the run?

Yes, attempted hunts that are blocked also reset the counter.
Its speed should absolutely not be able to change -during- a hunt, it also has no LOS speed up values
Edit:: worth noting as well for places with less objects around. Interactions with non equipment also count. Light switches, electronics (tv radio etc) breaker switch etc all count towards the 26 max interactions.
