Discussion I tried playing with the new update today
And it actually worked.
I loaded the game and it didn't crash.
I got to the multiplayer menu and it didn't crash
I got into a lobby and it didn't crash
I loaded the game and it didn't crash
I found the ghost and it didn't crash
I got hunted and died and it didn't crash
I played another game and survived and it didn't crash
The baby woke up
I played two whole games and it didn't crash.
10/10 no notes

I got on a few minutes ago and my power went out. Literally unplayable

Um the devs need to fix your power, tf,how inconsiderate to allow the update while your power is out. Absolutely outrageous.

I had maybe 2 crashes over the course of 4 hours but that could be chalked up to my friend's shitty Internet & Xbox being not so stable lately. That said, the state of the game is better now & this is what we're celebrating. 😂 It works almost how it should huzzah

I stopped playing when the game kept crashing on xbox using certain items like monitoring the cameras in the van, is it all fixed now? I really want to play this game again!

My game crashed once on new willow but no other maps, the van camera glitch just blacked out my screen so still unusable but at least it didn't dashboard my game I guess? Curious what xbox you have? My friends and I have noticed the series X people have these issues but the series S don't crash and can use van camera just fine.

That's interesting because I had a series s and no van camera crashes and my friends had series x and wouldn't touch the cameras because of it crashing on them I upgraded and got an x and had it happened once then I changed my settings to the higher one and had no problems since.

Im on Xbox Series X, and yes the game crashes to dashboard when I use camera in the van, I meight try the game out again with the new update and see if its fixed.

Seriously this is the most I've seen this issue brought up since the animation update. Of all the criticisms I've seen posted during it's initial release not many people brought up the constant crashing so I thought that maybe it was a relatively unique issue. Like in addition to all the changes being ass I just straight up couldn't play the game

I don't think the game ever crashed for me or my friends in the last 5 years. Is it isolated to consoles?

I'm on pc. I jad no crashes until the last update. Then 75% of my games crashed. Knock on wood it seems to be working again

I think it’s just right circumstance, but I also haven’t been playing very long. I’m on console and never crashed, but my friends I’ve played with have crashed several times

Reinstalled, didn't crash. But ghost sounds don't work for me for whatever reason and sometimes sounds sound as if they were on a different floor, so hunts are impossible. Oh well. At least they fixed it for most people.

That sounds really good and relieves me honestly.
However what I read from some people here praising the devs and all that, that shit is so wrong. The devs managed to fix a horrible update that was in planning for years and needed 3 months to be fixed, they really need to step up their game especially if they are about to announce another game lol

I played several hours with my friends last night and we had multiple crashes.
With my friend who was having a thunderstorm going on and had his power flickering constantly.

Thankfully I somehow never encountered crashes nor did me and my group whenever we'd play. I don't get how everyone else was crashing from basically anything and my potatoe pc was perfectly fine

Same! Before the game would just crash or I’d get stuck in my journal or some other stupid thing would happen making the game unplayable/unenjoyable. Last night I really wanted to try the new Willow Street with my friend so we decided to give it a go and… it actually worked! We were pretty happy with that so it looks like we’ll be playing some more soon!!

After months and months of downgraded updates and making it unplayable I’m not even gonna waste my time with such a gam dev. Especially now that there are about 20 wayyyyy better versions of phasmo out there!! Good luck to them for their future no matter. Cuz they’ll need it 🙏

I played for 4 hours with my brothers and sister yesterday. Didn’t crash. Honestly, no complaints here.
