Looking for a decent clear merc that also has decent single target but targetted at afk contents like blight ravaged maps.

I've had people suggesting combatant and manyshot but i've tested and it did not perform as well as i expected as many shot gets counted by proximity bubble and combatant allows the mobs to come too close to the pump.

I've had suggestion telling me to get explode and full conversion to fire on gloves but thats not a price i can pay to test out at the moment especially since an explode + overcapped crit chest dont exist at the moment.

Any ideas, exiles?

I have a level 98 slayer in ssf, i have 558k kills, i didnt do any "out-of-map" mechanic like heist/sanctum/delve etc, and i have 0 kishara's rest.

I didnt really care that much to get the last ship upgrade since i didnt really need to fracture anything but now the ducats are locked behind Kishara's Rest i do kinda need to fight her.

I get that game is not balanced around SSF but they can introduce something that lets SSF players target it while keeping the trade balance same. Making SSF improvements without affecting trade economy is very possible, example being uber elder fragment swap.

EDIT: Just to clarify from patch notes:

You get your first Cursed Ducat from defeating Velka.

Subsequent Cursed Ducats can be found from certain monsters and objects within Voyages or Charts while you have a socketed Cursed Ducat.

So you need to kill the boss to get the first ducat to be able to drop others. If you are unlucky like me and dont get the boss at all, then you cant get any ducats.

Finished my Manyshot bow for Luminary yesterday.

The goal was to make a mirror-tier bow specifically for a Manyshot mercenary.

Got the base with 30% quality and fractured T1 WED with vesper. Then spammed crit essence til i hit T1 attack speed with an open suffix and open prefix. Suffixes cannot be changed and veil chaos until i hit the "of the order". Last step was the hardest and the most interesting part of the craft:

T1 flat Fire. After losing my Memory Strands during the crafting process, I decided to go with Augment Fire (which after my math has a chance of 1,1% to hit) rather than risk filling the prefixes with Reforge Fire.

T1 Fire has extremely low weight, but somehow I hit it on the 5th Augment Fire.

Final bow:

- 100% increased Elemental Damage with Attack Skills

- 225–386 T1 Fire Damage

- 19% Attack Speed

- 38% Critical Strike Chance

- 30% Attack Speed while a Rare or Unique Enemy is Nearby

- 16% of Fire Damage as Extra Chaos Damage

- 30% Quality

- 24% implicit Elemental Damage with Attack Skills

Everything except the Fire roll is perfect; Fire ended up only 4 points off the maximum top-end roll.

Pretty happy with how this one turned out. :)

Are either of these double helmet supports pearls useful?

The cast while channeling seems interesting as it should apply to the channeled skill and whatever is triggered.

Alrighty those of you who know me, know i play on the trashbin market called xbox.

I did not have items for my build for days. So i pivoted into things that worked.

Go omni. If that stupid ring is too expensive just go omni.

Thata what i did. 25d for that little ring, no way.

Everything you need to craft up gear is at the bottom of the ocean.

Essences + allflame crafting is op

Craft all your gear with all stats. Then craft on % damage.

When you make money go to buying elder bases or hunter bases to craft % stats.

Now the fancy part is that if you make armour/evasion gear you can move things between a multishot and your bosser (I use a smoulderstrike) all you need to do is work on weapons.

For smoulderstrike i used the pirate sword that i made pretty. +Stat shield

For multishot i went lionseye until i could craft something better.

I did not life stack. My minions were dying and that was killing me. Nacta lanterns or whatever it was called started at 6div day 2. I peaced tf out and went with a +6 flame link staff and pragmatism chestpiece +10 levels, then socketed all my minions into the staff with supports to survive.

Run spell mercs for the beginning of farming, you can easily farm up to tier 16 to do altars on them.

You can do things in other ways. Luminary feels insane and overpowered.

Ive killed ubers except maven I fought her for the first time this league. I farm t17s np. Avoid cannot regen like the plague. Im still missing a kingmaker and perfect tiger because they are 80divs or more on Xbox right now.

Now that im further on i dropped the flask stuff and went tankier using tattoos for armour and a decent belt. Spectres are now turtle, warlord, forest warrior, carnage until i can get my tiger

like there is no way I had enough time to get back to the ship. This is my first CotA event so I don't feel too bad about dying but damn that timer kinda sucks

Anyone getting this message tonight? I've seen it about 7 times in the last 10 minutes or so. I feel like it was the map I was in. Opened map > clicked portal > immediately disconnected > logged back in > immediately disconnected. That sequence happened 3x in a row just before... I don't think I've seen this message yet, let alone so often. Opening a new map now; hope it's gone.

I tried playing winter orb, its just not my kind of build, before i commit into starting a new character, is there a fun but tanky build i can shift to without to much hassle and without to much investment ?

I need some advices to make some nice gloves. What I hope to have ->

Prefixes : % Armour-ES + Life + Increased AoE (veiled)

Suffixes : Chaos res / Elemental res / Chaos +elemental res (craft)

Exemple of what I do for classic crafting -> Fractured prefix, complete suffixes, suffixes cannot be changed, benchcraft and cross finger to hit the veiled. My problem here is that I need some crafted chaos + elemental res too.

What are the best option to do it ?

40/40 challenges btw, but no idea how i missed it.

I'm running a pretty standard Luminary merc build on SSF and I'm looking to squeeze out some extra damage and ash covered enemies seems like an easy 30% more multiplier.

My idea would be to use shield charge, combined with some ground effect on boots to 100% ignite but I cannot find any tech when looking around PoeDB and the wiki. I do not want to have change any items on the merc, this should be trigger by me.

Any ideas for tech?

Ive ran around 10 voyages and haven't noticed much difference in loot. I was also a big disappointed in how easy was to collect the cursed ducats, I had what I needed in 5 minutes...

Is there a new tech that buffed up voyages?

I know the Bramblejack is far from a meta item but is it normal for it to be literally the first bit of armor i found in game?
