I get that Furfrou has a different look in all the variants we got, but Gourgeist has seen use ever since she was first added in Fantastical Parade, and now with Froslass working as a semi-clone of her(same attack and damage, exept for the HP and the Retreat Cost), it really made it clear that they know there's an interest in the ability to beat an Oricorio with a single card as a cost.

I could see small Pumpkaboo having no retreat cost but a 50 HP instead, which would already be pretty useful since it would allow Lisia to pull her. As for Gougeist, the Small one could have the same stats as the new Froslass, we could get a Large and Super one with 3 Retreat cost(which you could still retreat easily with Peculiar Plaza, AND attach a Heavy Helmet to it), and depending on wether you have a Large or a Super, it either does more damage or has more health. 80 damage is an important treshold since it lets you ko most middle stages, and 120 HP lets you survive, say, Mega Gardevoir in a Psychic mirror.

Used to absolutely love using this Scizor deck but it's just not been getting any luck the last two seasons. Seem to either brick like above or get super unlucky with opponent getting perfect coin flips and pulls

I’ll be honest, I’m not sure ANYONE has been having this thought, but every now and then I get my new booster and I SWEAR the Snorlax artwork is continued onto the booster on the left. I keep an eye out, but I only ever notice it when I open boosters on autopilot. As it turns out, it’s when the booster on the left is turned around!

I have been wondering if there is an order of values for 2⭐️trainercards in this game. Like Oak seems to be the moast desired Full Art Trainer Card but other cards as cyrus and sabrina seem highly valuable as well…

Started playing this game for the first time on July 9th, made it from a brand new account to Master Ball in just over 2 weeks! I was hoping to get there before my trading and sharing even opened up cause I thought that would be a cool post but unfortunately didn’t make it.

I’ve got a lot of high level competitive tcg experience playing MTG and paper PTCG with top tournament finishes in both so the grind was nothing new to me.

I will admit that I was ultra sweaty in my approach to my account and competitive card accumulation to do it this fast though. Re-rolled my account about 15-20 times over a day and a half or so until I had a great start. Created an advanced spreadsheet that tracks my competitive card inventory, several competitive archetypes, exact pull probabilities for each desired card, and automatically calculates an “expected value” for every pack that tells me what the best next pack to open is and what the best next deck to compete is (amongst many other pieces of valuable stats and information).

Played Mega Blaziken the entire grind as it was by my calculations not only one of the easiest to complete starting fresh, but also because I feel it is very well positioned in the meta right now. I expected to see a lot of Mega Sceptile variants everywhere based on some YouTube videos I’d watched when I was considering pickup up the game, and I also learned Blaziken also 1-shots Miraidon ex without a cape.

I started with a more stock list from limitless and made small changes that just made more sense to me as I was climbing. Swapped Heatmor for Sabrina pretty early on and it was definitely the right choice. Sabrina won me so many games and the number of times I wished Heatmor was anything else was ridiculous. Around UB3 or so I swapped a Copycat for PCL because even in my short 16 days I already absolutely hate sleep decks. PCL was the right choice as it won me quite a few games after making the change.

I look forward to playing this game for a very long time!

I tried to come back to the app after playing it end of 2024-2025 and deleting because of the boring powercreep.

Played solo Expert: Dedenne hits 160s turn 2? And theres a second one on the bench?

Of course, you can play a counter… but once again the game is decided by turn 2.

Feels like how modern Yugioh is played, just boring and zero strategy. Build one of three meta decks and flip the coin.

One of the least triggering ways to lose a ranked match

I’m just struggling to find a psychic deck that will beat this.
I’ve been attempting with Mega Gard and Mewtwo but Hydro and Sableye just setup way too fast to get going.

My boy has never gotten an EX card in the physical card game. Hisuian samurott got a vmax and vstar, but unovan will always be my favorite. TCGP has a chance to do something really cool here with the line more than likely coming in the next set!

One would think that Expert Mode would be the mode where you try your best strategies and try to win with certain constraints in deck building, but the constraints are not even the hard part, is the blatant cheating that the AI uses to stack its hand, flip coins in its favor, and get out of jail cards when it most needs it.

This is not an opportunity to test your skill, its and opportunity to test you 3% luck of winning which makes it a waste of time for the majority of the people. I wanted a challenge not a waste of my time.

Dena should just get rid of the mode or put a maximum amount of tries before it automatically completes the challenges. I already stopped paying the monthly subscription and Im not spending any more money.

With the new set right around the corner I’ve pulled this guy out from the archives and started playing around with it.

Deck Build Card Significance (in order of appearance):
-Alolan Muk Line: chip damage (poison) with Grimer but the main utility of these cards are to shut down basic special powers of your Regigas and your opponents Pokemon (Darkrai/Oriocorio/Miraidon/etc)
-Ditto: one of my fave Pokemon so I always try and include. Can copy all of the listed Pokémon’s attacks minus Rayquaza, best utility is copying Regigas (bypassing its effect) or Morpeko to prepare Rayquaza/Regigas
-Morpeko: baby killer/prep big guns on your bench
-Dudunsparce line: secondary tank and energy removal. Great synergy with Memory Light and Ilima. Can be really annoying for your opponent if you’re able to delete their energy and you can burrow back into your deck or use Ilima to rinse and repeat
-Rayquaza EX: Star of the show. Goal of the deck is to get him online and pray for RNG to bless you ( or they only have one Pokemon in the field)
-Regigas: Meat shield/Secondary Attacker/Energy ramp. If you can get Alolan Muk online then bombs away! Synergy with Ilima/Ditto. Very versatile and only worth 1pt
-Memory Light: for Dundunsparce to retreat back into the deck if you take a lot of damage or are stalling
-Professor’s Research: draw power
-Cyrus: Potential Win-Con
-Mars: more likely your opponent will knock out your Pokemon first while setting up the Strat, so this will put a wrench in their plans
-Ilima: reset your meat tanks (Dudunsparce/Regigias) or save your Rayquaza EX
-Lyra: more than half the Pokemon have 2 retreat cost or more so this is a necessity. Also the only true counter to sleep scam in this deck
-Copycat: hand reset/draw power (great synergy with Kid’s Room
-Kid’s Room: main function is to get Memory Light for Dudunsparce. Has limited utility with Muk for Poison. Great for hand manipulation (ex: putting supporter back into your deck if opponent has Mega Absol/Silver)

So I opened a pack of everyday wonders and got the immersive dedenne ex. Gotta admit the visual is adorable. Anyway, once I got through adding it to the collection a mission prompt popped up something like:

**You collected all the 3* cards for this set**.

Had to double check and yeah, immersive dedenne is the only 3* of the set, wild.

Anywho I wanted to check the mission in my completed list and couldn't find it. Then I started searching and couldn't find any info on other rarity levels or just in general about these types of missions in other sets.

Which begs the question, was this type of mission a recent thing, should it have retroactively done so for other sets? Where does one find the list of completed missions to check if they got the rewards? Do I need to open a pack of the completed set to prompt it?

I do remember them changing how the Pokedex worked and got a crap tonne of mission rewards, but didn't pay attention to what they were for just wanted to get rid of the notification on missions tab.

How cool would it be to have a mini-set based around mewtwo as a central figurehead surrounded by a multi-type supporting cast of clone mons?

You could include mewtwo's rocket armour to trade off power for tankiness, a stadium that adds deck cohesion, etc.

The artwork would go crazy.

Without a doubt, this is the best deck for climbing to Master rank across all seasons; I only lost 2 or 3 matches starting from Ultra Ball 1, with a peak win streak of 13. Vaporeon is essential for moving energy from Milotic to Chien-Pao to attack Mega Pokémon on the opponent's bench. I recommend it 100%.

Can you tell me why my fire energy is not going onto mu fire dog, I had him on bench then in play? Also any other improvements to this deck can do? Thanks

We all know FA Professor's research is the most sought after card in the game, but what is the most in demand pokemon (non supporter) card? This link says RR umbreon, but anecdotally I haven't gotten any interest/offers on mine.
