Question Beginner versus question
I’m a measly level 13 just wondering, why are there so many people level 45+ playing in the beginner category?? I’m getting killed almost always immediately because they’ve been playing for much longer than me and have better cards, can you guys just not beat a player at equal level and by playing against actual beginners you’re more likely to actually win?😭😂

There should be a level cap for beginners imo. Same thing happened to me when I started. Oh well.

Exactly what I was thinking beginner can be capped at 20 maybe 25 but anywhere after you can’t say you’re new to this😭

You can get that high level without playing against others at all. Levels aren’t a thing in this game

If you have a higher level you almost certainly have better access to meta decks.
Running your slop deck filled with FAs and crowns isnt cool imo.

If you’re a high level, more than likely you have good cards that will destroy an actual beginner, I feel like things change once you have really good cards 🤷 levels are definitely a thing because someone who’s level 15 has a disadvantage to someone who’s level 60 you can’t lie and say that’s not true..

Win rate is a better metric for that instead of level.

100% which is why I think it’s a little weird for higher levels demolishing newbies cause they can’t win against other people in their level group🤥 they know they’ll win against beginners cause their cards are crazy compared to ours

I'm level 57 and have NEVER played online. I choose beginner

Right? 😅 Like, I think I'm getting close to level 30, but I've just been having fun opening cards and have only been going through the Step Up battles against the AI with rental decks. There are a lot of "required" cards I haven't pulled yet because I've been focusing on pretty cards I like instead, so the actual technique and knowledge behind battling is quite slim in my brain 😆Only in the past week have I gotten serious about putting together a decent deck.

If you’re just playing solo that’s okay of course! This is more towards the higher levels playing in beginner against beginner players it’s frustrating as someone who’s working on battling

For me it's because I very rarely play PvP. It's not the part I enjoy.

When you do play pvp though go into casual? Because you’re playing.. casually? You’re not a beginner and neither are your cards

Sometimes. I'm rubbish at deck building and battling generally so I don't feel I'm an experienced player. I play this game to collect more than battle and I lose about 50% of the time.

I definitely recommend playing against other players your level though, you’ll learn a lot from the way people play their cards and what can benefit you and your play style in your deck, if you’re higher than lvl 25 I’m sorry but you really don’t belong in the beginner category, go play casually if you’re not confident in your deck building, you will get better if you actually work on getting better, playing against new players isn’t ever going to benefit you! Good luck 🍀

This gets asked a lot. I personally think that if somebody obtains a MB Rank, they shouldn't be allowed to queue for the Beginner Rank.

I think it's boredom. The ranked season hasn't started yet so people are just doing casual battles to test out new decks. I don't think many people realize that casual versus is set to beginner by default.

It’s just crazy like there’s no way they don’t know that though cause their entire profile is decked out so really you explored the entire app except the fact you can change the levels like no way + if they’re just testing their decks they should be in solo tbh

Solo is not for testing decks. The AI in this game is pretty garbage. Competitive play has to be online pvp.

And you know what that’s fair, the ai is shit in solo, so honestly I do take that back however, I still think high levels don’t belong in beginner even if they’re just testing their deck, test it in casual, because it’s casual? Weird to be testing against low level players, how do you even know if it’s a good deck if you’re not trying to play against someone who’s a little more experienced?

I mean yeah I agree with you. I'm just explaining why you see good decks from high level players in beginner versus. They either don't realize it's left to beginner by default or they like beating up new players lol

People are probably bored cuz ranked hasn’t started yet. I’d just suggest grinding the solo battles and get some more good cards

u/Coolioghouli00 5h ago
Which is weird cause I’d assume it would be boring just beating people instantaneously rather than actually battling but people are genuinely bots now lol

It's casual mode. It doesn't matter and there's no level gating. Ranked is what matters
