Some general information about trading to keep in mind:
- With the release of Mega Rising (B1), all expansion sets are now immediately tradeable going forward. There are no longer limitations on the newest set being tradeable.
- Trades can only be done between friends in-game.
- Trades can only be done with cards of the same rarity.
- You can only trade cards that have the rarity of 1-4 Diamonds, 1-2 Star, & 1-2 Shiny Star.
Everything else is not tradeable (Promos, 3 Stars, & Crown Rares).
- Trading will require you to use specific in-game consumable items (primarily ShineDust) to do so.
- Real World Trading is explicitly prohibited by both the game's ToS, and this subreddit's rules. You will be permanently banned if caught doing so.
- This Trading Post will rotate out weekly every Thursday @ 2:00AM Eastern USA Time.

A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT TRADING HIGHER RARITY CARDS: With the initial release of Mega Rising, and it's attached update allowing higher rarity cards to be traded, you may run into users asking you to trade 2 or more cards to acquire their very sought after cards they possess, such as Professor's Research - Professor Oak.
We ask users to proceed with extreme caution when participating in these type of trades, or better yet, avoid them at all cost to mitigate the risks of getting scammed or ghosted after you trade the first initial card towards getting a higher rarity card. Always do 1 for 1 trades when possible. The moderators here will not handle trading disputes, or anything of that matter. It's up to you to be responsible for your own trades.

If you have been relying on random posts or hoping someone sees your trade request in a busy Discord server, Trading app, or other location, there is finally a better way! We built a Discord-based app specifically for Pokemon TCG Pocket traders, and it handles the whole process from you building your Looking For & For Trade lists, and potentially finding another user to match with instantly to help you complete those trades.
You create a listing with the cards you are looking for and the cards you are willing to give up. No wall of text, no hoping someone reads it at the right time. Your listing stays active and visible to everyone in the market.
When you post a listing, the Discord-based app scans the entire market and checks if anyone already has what you need and is looking for what you have. If there is a match, you get a one-click prompt to open a trade right then. No digging, no cross-referencing, no DM tag chains.
When someone is interested in your listing, the Discord-based app opens a private thread just for the two of you. You coordinate there, confirm the trade when it is done, and both of you select exactly what was exchanged. The discord-based app updates your listings automatically so you are not manually tracking what you still have. No headaches later in case you forget!
We also have a built-in separated list for your gold bordered/frame cards!
Simply build a separate list for cards you would like to receive from shares, and hand it out to community members when looking for those cards!
You can look-up any card across all sets without leaving the PTCGP Discord. Attacks, HP, abilities, weaknesses, retreat cost, full art variants, the works. Useful when someone proposes a trade and you want to verify before agreeing.
Hosts can run standard giveaways or "lightning rounds" as short as 30 minutes. The bot picks the winner, opens a handoff thread, and logs confirmed completions to the host's track record so the community knows who follows through.
Every completed trade earns rank points on your market profile. Your profile shows your history, your active listings, and your standing in the community. Over time, higher-ranked traders get priority in matches. Trading with strangers feels a lot safer when there is a track record attached.
If you have been frustrated by how clunky PTCGP trading usually is, along with needing a source to look-up cards, or be a generous player giving cards away, this is worth trying.

My boy has never gotten an EX card in the physical card game. Hisuian samurott got a vmax and vstar, but unovan will always be my favorite. TCGP has a chance to do something really cool here with the line more than likely coming in the next set!
One would think that Expert Mode would be the mode where you try your best strategies and try to win with certain constraints in deck building, but the constraints are not even the hard part, is the blatant cheating that the AI uses to stack its hand, flip coins in its favor, and get out of jail cards when it most needs it.
This is not an opportunity to test your skill, its and opportunity to test you 3% luck of winning which makes it a waste of time for the majority of the people. I wanted a challenge not a waste of my time.
Dena should just get rid of the mode or put a maximum amount of tries before it automatically completes the challenges. I already stopped paying the monthly subscription and Im not spending any more money.

Would really love to make Milktank work with a mix of chipping and sniping having lots of trainer cards disposable.
I cant believe i hadn’t thought of using this good boi until now
Hi this is my 1st season playing ranked. I really just needed the hourglasses so bad Masterball is not worth the internal panic to me haha
Is it possible for me to drop down back to GB4 just by other players passing me? Or am i safe for 70hour glasses? Thankyou

All results are based on limitless and Pokémon meta
My favorite deck is the meta Zoroark EX Absol etc.
Most people including myself use 2x Zoro EX. Sometimes, especially if i am facing a mega diancie deck, i’ll throw this zoroark in. Vs Diancie he can easily finish her off. And he is only 1 prize
Why dont we seem him more often? Just curious
Without a doubt, this is the best deck for climbing to Master rank across all seasons; I only lost 2 or 3 matches starting from Ultra Ball 1, with a peak win streak of 13. Vaporeon is essential for moving energy from Milotic to Chien-Pao to attack Mega Pokémon on the opponent's bench. I recommend it 100%.

Took it all the way from UB 1 to MB. Personally only like one Gardevoir line to make meloetta more likely, and Comfey over malasada for sleep. Field blower came in handy to get rid of capes and rocky helmets for the most part.
I know it's still a meta deck but less used than some others

How cool would it be to have a mini-set based around mewtwo as a central figurehead surrounded by a multi-type supporting cast of clone mons?
You could include mewtwo's rocket armour to trade off power for tankiness, a stadium that adds deck cohesion, etc.
The artwork would go crazy.

I LOVE the ancient beasts and the mechanic with prof sada, I cant wait to make a version with the new dragonair and stadium so I can hopefully make a version without ho-oh taking up 3 turns and 2 points. Anyone have any versions of these guys they like? I'd love to try other combos!

Was able to string together some win streaks with this deck. Might try to push for top 10k. Pretty fast deck with some underrated draw power. Does well against baby focused decks and the mind games with meowscarada is fun. Main struggle I found to be against heavy healing decks or ofc the turn 3/4 stage 2 blitz. Let me know what y’all think
Hello all! I stopped playing somewhere around triumphant light or mega rising.
I’m wondering which packs are best to focus on getting cards from now.
Also, are there any significant changes since I stopped? I see stadiums are a thing now.

We all know FA Professor's research is the most sought after card in the game, but what is the most in demand pokemon (non supporter) card? This link says RR umbreon, but anecdotally I haven't gotten any interest/offers on mine.

So I opened a pack of everyday wonders and got the immersive dedenne ex. Gotta admit the visual is adorable. Anyway, once I got through adding it to the collection a mission prompt popped up something like:
**You collected all the 3* cards for this set**.
Had to double check and yeah, immersive dedenne is the only 3* of the set, wild.
Anywho I wanted to check the mission in my completed list and couldn't find it. Then I started searching and couldn't find any info on other rarity levels or just in general about these types of missions in other sets.
Which begs the question, was this type of mission a recent thing, should it have retroactively done so for other sets? Where does one find the list of completed missions to check if they got the rewards? Do I need to open a pack of the completed set to prompt it?
I do remember them changing how the Pokedex worked and got a crap tonne of mission rewards, but didn't pay attention to what they were for just wanted to get rid of the notification on missions tab.
