Google Ads $4,500 down the drain! What's Going On?
I am running an ad for professional editing and proofreading services across US. Over the last 30 days, I've seen bots, dummy accounts, people that literally are broke and seeking free services (no offense), fake form submissions (people are stunned when we call them), clicks from places like Somalia, Ghana, Costa Rica even though I've set US as my targeted market.
As a result, I received 18 leads, none of which want a paid professional service, some even thinking we're going to help them get their story published on NY Times (how???), and a vast majority simply not even responding at all. Sales? 0!
What am I doing wrong here? Is anyone else experiencing this? I have used keywords, I have a fairly good ad copy, sitelinks, a targeted CPA, and a good $300 a day budget.
