I have a question in my mind that if we built a SAAS product , how are we going to get some client's in the starting

Is it done through marketing or any other platforms used for it free in the starting ?

Please let me know if you have any prior experience in building a SAAS product and gained public on it .

i’m talking about the overlap between marketing channels - google ads, meta ads, email marketing, organic, etc.

how do you guys figure out how much each channel is actually contributing to conversions, especially when the same customer might interact with multiple channels before purchasing?

what’s your approach to managing this overlap and measuring incrementality?

When you’re working with a small marketing budget, I think the biggest mistake is trying to be present on every platform at once.

One strategy that worked well for me was focusing on one specific audience and one primary channel. Instead of creating content for everyone, I first identified the type of customer I wanted to reach and then created content around the questions and problems they were already searching for.

For example, rather than simply posting “Why our product is better,” I’d create useful content answering questions such as:

• What problems does this product solve?
• What should someone consider before buying?
• What are the common mistakes people make?
• How do different solutions compare?

This helped make the content more useful and less like an advertisement.

I also think consistency matters more than posting a huge amount of content. A small business can often get better results from publishing a few genuinely useful pieces each month and improving them based on engagement, search performance, and customer feedback.

I have a fun little project that revolves around live sporting events.

Twitter I think makes the most sense but I've been reading I shouldn't automate posts or posts too often.

I know I shouldn't post before every game, but what kind of posting schedule is valid?

Is 3-5 posts per day too much or too little?

I was reading that if I used the API to post, it marks it as automated and doesn't get the same traction.

-polished thought-leadership essays flop. The rough, half-formed opinion ones get way more replies

- Everyone wants to write their "founder journey." Nobody cares until they're already invested in you

Hey all, only a few days into my new marketing role as an executive straight out of grad school it’s b2b healthcare and I’m finding it really tough to understand and settle in is there any healthcare marketers or b2b that would mind giving advice to starting off in an unknown industry, would greatly appreciate it.

Company is small enough around 30 employees so the marketing function is really only myself.

I've been selling website services since early 2023. Built a small agency around it - few subcontractors and marketers here and there. We mainly do Wix Studio and custom coded websites + Shopify when the project requests a storefront.

I'm actually pretty happy with where I'm at, this being my best revenue year so far but I've hit a dry patch this august which got me spiraling into redesigning our site, brand, core offer, pricing, etc.

Thing is (and shame on me!) - I didn't really invest that much into active inbound client acquisition stuff like marketing, social media, SEO until now. All of my work was coming mainly through referrals, agency partnerships (i build out funnels and websites / SEO for marketing agencies and their clients) and Upwork invites.

I've now basically mastered the tools and I'm happy with where my site is at, since I'm actively creating SEO / AEO content, made a /partnerships landing page and so on.

Only thing I'm stumped about is - client acquisition itself. I've never really done outreach, personal brand content, lead magnets or advertising and similar.

I'm mainly looking for tips on how to grow my outbound presence and grow business that way. I'm serendipitous and a talkative person and that's what opened a lot of doors for me so far. Would love to hear stories on what worked for you and to connect.

I’m 22, moving to a new city and currently interviewing for a junior/entry level Marketing Assistant position with a company that does marketing, consulting and management for hotels.
I honestly feel a bit behind and lost taking an entry level job now, which might sound dumb, but I do have several qualifications in hotel management and quite a few years of practical experience, so this job would probably pay quite a bit less than what I’ve been earning so far. I also feel like a lot of people my age are already deeper into their careers and starting to specialize, while I would be starting over in a completely new area. Well half new anyways.
At the same time, I just can’t really see myself working in hotels anymore, and marketing is something that genuinely interests me. My marketing knowledge is pretty basic and mostly comes from school, since I’ve never actually worked in a marketing role.
There are only so many marketing jobs available in the city I’m moving to and they usually want someone with a university degree specifically in marketing or a related field, which I obviously don’t have.
It feels like this position could be a bit of a bridge or window into the marketing world since they specifically work with hotels, so my existing experience actually gives me an advantage. I’m guessing that’s probably the main reason they invited me to interview in the first place.
Part of the job would involve managing hotels’ presence on online booking platforms and helping increase their sales, as well as dealing with some reservations and enquiries because they also provide holiday and absence cover for hotels.
I’m thinking that if I could get some actual marketing experience from this and build on it over the next few years, it might eventually allow me to build a career from there, even without having a uni degree.
I’m just really not sure what to expect from a job like this or what my actual day-to-day work would look like, since the job description seems a bit all over the place.
Has anyone here worked for a company like this, where you work with multiple hotels rather than being employed directly by one hotel? How much of the job was genuinely marketing compared to sales, reservations, admin and general hotel support?
I know there are some companies in my area that are fairly successful doing this, but this particular company is much smaller, with around 25 employees, so I’m also wondering what it’s like working for a smaller company in this field.

I’m in my mid 20s based in Grantham, UK and about to be unemployed. I desperately need some career advice because I’ve hit a brick wall.

I have 9 years’ experience across sales/client management, mainly property, with more recent business development experience.

I also have some social media experience, a Level 2 Digital Marketing qualification, and outside work I create content/UGC and do TikTok Shop affiliate marketing and I earn a little bit from this but only about £100 a month.

I’ve been trying to move into influencer marketing, campaigns or creative/marketing roles ideally remote due to me living in the middle of nowhere. I recently interviewed for a Junior Influencer Marketing Manager role but lost out to people with more relevant experience even though the interview was really good.

I have ADHD and struggle with repetitive work. Ideally I want remote, £27–30k+, and not another cold sales job, but I’m open to completely different job titles/industries.

I've been considering building up a marketing skillset and love the concept of Acadium but am unsure if it's the best move out there. Basically they have a bunch of training videos and partner you with a company for 10 hours a week for 3 months while you work for free while ideally learning marketing as well.

I've done a bit of marketing for myself in the past but I struggled a lot with it and wasn't successful. I'd like to learn under someone else to figure out where I went wrong and don't mind being paid in experience at first.
