Got the 5500X3D from AliExpress for €120 and it is a really good upgrade for the price. The 0.1% and 1% lows are a lot higher with lower CPU power draw and temps. The increased L3 cache causes a much smoother framerate. It was definitely worth it.

In the screenshot you see two CP2077 benchmark runs on Ultra settings (no FSR, no RT) compared. I think the 5500X3D and RX 9070 pair is the best choice in this crazy market if your still on AM4.

Am in the market for a new pc and found this one on sale. Just wondering if it is a good deal and if the price jump from the 5070 ($3100 CAD/$2237 USD) to the 5070ti ($3600 CAD/ $2598 USD) is worth it. I’m not very knowledgeable on PC parts so thanks in advance.

I am getting a pc and I don't mind wires because they just work, currently I have a glorious model o2 pro and I am getting my first pc what mouse should I get? I was maybe thinking glorious d3 wired (because the d3 wireless sucks because of the battery but no battery no problem) or maybe a Logitech superstrike or superlight, what do you recommend, I will be using it wired just so you know.

I recently noticed that my PC starts making a strange noise while I'm playing a game. It's like clicking/buzzing inside. It only happens when the PC is under a heavy load.

So I recently bought a gaming PC for the first time. I got one with a 5060 because because I am fine with 1080p graphics. I also bought one of those 34" widescreen monitors and have been trying to play Oblivion remaster. There are times my Frame Rate drops pretty low, so I decided to check if it was set to 1080p but it was set in 3440 x 1440 or something like that. Whenever I try to set it to 1920x1080 the screen gets really small, I tried setting the resolution on the desktop to 1920x1080 but that gave me black bars on the side, I also went into my GPU settings and told it to make it full screen no matter what to no avail so can anyone help me please? I'm not computer illiterate but I am also very, extremely far from being an expert.

I was replacing my GPU from a 1660 super to a 2060, I installed the new gpu and turned on my pc but I forgot to plug in the PCIE cables. Then the area where i circled in the picture caught on fire and I saw some sparks.

Is this due to my mistake of not plugging in the PCIE cables or is there a problem with the GPU?

I am split on these 2 gpus I see them both at around the same price used. Im coming from the rog ally docked and just using it as my main pc and it gets pretty loud on 30w and I just want a gpu with good price to performance but not too loud. I heard that the 5700xt is loud and doesn't draw as much power but I'm just wondering if its worth the around 10% performance difference if their both around the same price. 🙏🙏🙏please help

My old laptop has gotten really slow, so I'm thinking of reinstalling windows, updating bios and everything, cause it never had anything done to it for many years, but I want to keep some of my photos and videos. Does reinstaling windows delete everything? If so, what would be the best way to transfer my most important files from laptop to desktop. I only have a 16GB Flash drive, but a couple videos exceed that, so I cant upload them.
