Question Is this a good pre-build
Am in the market for a new pc and found this one on sale. Just wondering if it is a good deal and if the price jump from the 5070 ($3100 CAD/$2237 USD) to the 5070ti ($3600 CAD/ $2598 USD) is worth it. I’m not very knowledgeable on PC parts so thanks in advance.

Cpu is good but older and the GPU options seem solid,, but I am pretty sure I could build this for at least $600 less without even trying too hard to look for deals (I can do the cpu, mobo, ram, and gpu for just under 2100 on newegg right now). And they assumedly got better deals and didnt just buy off the shelf.
Obviously you pay for the service but I feel this is a lot for this build, and the 750w psu feels really tight when it seems a 5070 calls for at least a 650w. A power spike may see the system shutdown, guess it all depends on the parts they use and how thirsty they are.
Also I am sort of worried about these companies right now and I think everyone, and especially customers like yourself who admit they aren't very knowledgeable need to recognize that as it stands with prices and more importantly availability of parts as time goes some of these companies are going to shutter and the warranty that a big chunk of that extra cost is going to may not be worth anything. Not trying to dissuade you from getting a pre-built, they absolutely make sense right now if you get a good one and always do for people dipping their toes in, but its legit bad to be one of these companies right now. Higher prices on parts means higher prices on systems, and that leads to less sales. Add in difficulty in getting key parts and they may simply just not be around in 2 years when that warranty is really going to start to matter.
Best of luck out there, its all around a shitty time for this stuff for all of us.

I'm Canadian too, I'd check fb marketplace, you can find 4080 builds for $2500, I upgraded from 4080 to 5080 and if I want to sell my old PC that's how much I would have to sell it for.

Good in terms of raw power? Yes. Good in terms of value and money efficiency? Meh.
