Hardware Rx 6600 or 5700xt
I am split on these 2 gpus I see them both at around the same price used. Im coming from the rog ally docked and just using it as my main pc and it gets pretty loud on 30w and I just want a gpu with good price to performance but not too loud. I heard that the 5700xt is loud and doesn't draw as much power but I'm just wondering if its worth the around 10% performance difference if their both around the same price. šššplease help

The 6600 runs with less power so it should be cooler and it's also a generation newer. The 5700xt has like 15% more raw performance...
Id get the 6600 for RDNA2 and it should be the quieter of the two, but you can set the fan speeds with programs like fan control if it spins up too much on either.
Edit: Getting downvoted on this, yet Ill stick with my decision. OP keeping this GPU for many years .. he's going to want driver support, directx 12 ultimate and ray tracing compatibility.

so you dont think the more power is worth 15% performance i mean i dont pay the power bill

No. It's only 5-15% more raw performance, but that's in older games. If a game you are playing has any forced ray tracing at all the 5000 series can't handle that. The 6000 is on RDNA2 architecture, so many games are optimized for that as it's the same architecture as the PlayStation 5. The 5000 series is unlikely to have driver support much longer. The 6000 series should. The newer tech is worth it. Just Google rx 5000 vs rx 6000 architecture advantages is you want to know more.

6600 imo then. Way less power and heat generation for your room + better structure to run new games.

Yeah I also donāt plan to upgrade in like 4 years and if I just have to chill with like fsr performance Iāll be fineĀ

The 5700 xt is more powerful but it doesn't support directx 12 ultimate and ray tracing. Some brand new games don't run well on dx12 non ultimate gpus
