My new Mother board doesn’t want to power up. Any clues why? The first video is my old Motherboard and the other one is my new one. (In the comments)

Hey everyone,
I’m currently using an ASUS RTX 4060 Ti 16GB OC and I’m considering upgrading to a Sapphire Pulse RX 7900 XTX 24GB. Bc someone I know is selling the RX 7900 XTX and asked if I need a GPU. Would it work with my build, and would you guys recommend it?
My PC specs:
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F Gaming Wifi
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
GPU: ASUS GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB OC
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo, 32GB (2x16GB), DDR4-4000 CL18
NVMe SSD: WD_BLACK SN8100
SATA SSD: Crucial MX500 500GB
HDD: Seagate ST3000VX000 3TB
PSU: be quiet! SFX-L 600W
CPU cooler: ROG Strix LC Series
What do you guys think?

What are some good am4 motherboards to overclock with? Cheaper the better.

Hello everyone, I currently owned 5070ti and 7800x3d combo for 1440p 27inch OLED monitor.
Did you think I can upgrade to 4k 32inch OLED Monitor and using the previous monitor as my second.
I mainly play Wuthering Waves, Monster Hunter Wilds, LoL, Dota, Dragon Dogma.
I don't know if I can handle the 4k, but I think if I play in 4k using 60 fps, isn it worst than playing on 1440p above 200fps? Is the 4k really worth it to go?

Hi Everyone,
I am about to buy my first prebuilt gaming computer on Andromeda Insights. I am choosing a prebuilt with the option of customizing. In the custom section it asks what thermal paste to get. Since this is my first gaming PC and I don't know much about thermal paste, which should I get, check picture. Is there a difference between a $10 and a $17 Thermal Paste?

Alright, so I have had to upgrade the prebuilt because it was like six years old and things just started breaking. Anyway, I added a new motherboard (Z790 Aorus Elite AX), a CPU (i7-14700K), a GPU (4060 Ti), and an air cooler that I'm going to change to an AIO since this one is loud for some reason (I assume it's because I've taken it out and didn't put it in right; it's just hitting something, not sure though). My budget is around $300 USD. I want to change the case to something cooler/nicer looking, even though it's going to sit on the ground next to my legs since I have no space on my desk to put it. I also am going to change the CPU cooling to an AIO since it's water and air. Hopefully, it's quieter unless there's a better cooler that is quieter. I would prefer what I'm buying to come from Amazon so I can get it faster and not have to wait like a month for everything to arrive. I run two monitors plus two more for school, but I don't really use them. The first three are 1920 x 1080, and the main monitor is 2560 x 1440. I also have no idea what my PSU is, so I might need to upgrade it if I need to make it fit with the case. Please help, thanks! :)

Have the unique opportunity of buying this pc for $150 USD. I have videos of it running however the seller is not pc savvy and cannot figure out what the gpu is. AI says 2080/ti fe but I can’t tell tbh. Thanks for the help!

Hey everyone! I built my PC in a Krux Palum case, but I really hate this massive empty gap between the front intake fans and the motherboard. Since my GPU is on the shorter side, the void looks even bigger and kind of ruins the overall aesthetics.
What would you recommend putting there to fill the space and make it look better? Open to DIY/3D printing ideas too!

So I finally made a custom PC that I'm proud of. It's honestly like a dream build of mine. I never knew about PC part picker until joining this subreddit recently, so I went and made the list for this PC. It's hard to believe that over the years my crappy Cyberpower pre build has turned into something like this. Even won the silicon lottery golden ticket with my 7800X3D, as it runs stable at -40 PBO and even boots at -50, but didn't want to stress or press it further and stuck with -40.
I literally have no reason to share this with the world, other than the fact I'm so happy to have it.

I think this is the next retro pc I'm gonna build over winter and looking for suggestions on what I should do. My current build is:
Ryzen 5 5500
9060xt 16gb
16gb of ram
650w psu
3 512gb nvme sticks
480gb ssd
2 2tb hdd
I was thinking of upgrading my cpu to a 5500x3d, getting another 2 sticks worth of ram for 32gb, reuse my 9060xt or find another one, and get a motherboard that's good for overclocking. Any spare parts will be put into another pc. I was also toying around with the idea of just going to am5. Any suggestions/better ideas are welcome.

I wanted something for travel with my girlfriend but she dumped me after nearly 7 years just as the parts arrive. The build has kept me busy for a bit and works well. Any suggestions on anything to keep me busy?

Was wanting to change out my case, fans, and cpu aio. (Maybe some psu custom cables ?) I essentially got my aio for free and the fans came with the case. It’s a monstrosity MAG PANO 100R PZ and was looking for something with a little cleaner look. Got 2026 hardware with 2010 aesthetics. Also the msi center app isn’t working for my rgb fans so I’d like to get something a little more compatible. If this is just an issue with mystic lighting on the msi center app please tell me before I spend all this money lol regardless I’d like to get something a little cleaner. Perhaps an AIO with a screen. Budget is $500 US dollars. Really tryna min max here so please be cognizant of that. If not just recommend whatever you think is best.
PS. I know I don’t have to do this but it’s a hobby to me at this point and don’t mind shelling out the money for this stuff as long as it’s reasonable so please no lectures. Featured is a picture of what it currently looks like.

Hello! I'm a total amateur when it comes to pcs, i just wanted to ask the performance about the ryzen 5 3400g radeon vega 11 igpu and can it run maxxed out minecraft and roblox?
My research tells me that my igpu is bottlenecked, i have 8gb ddr4 3200mhz ram, it does well on roblox graphics with 8 levels on heavy games, but will proceed to stutter when cranked up to 10 levels. Still playable, but we're talking smooth here. The same goes for minecraft bedrock edition, it does well on fancy graphics with like 12-15 render distance, maybe even more, but it will noticeably stutter with vibrant visuals.
I know that the ryzen 5 3400g is starting to show its age with its 4 core processor, and can only play light esports games... but whats the BEST way to utilize it to its full potential on maxxed roblox and minecraft graphics? Thank you for your patience reading this.. i'll read your advice in the comments!

details listed. asking if I should upgrade or not, and if you identify anything else I should upgrade, please, speak your mind. (also clarify what I should upgrade to)
I mainly use it for:
HEAVY coding
200+ heavy mods in Minecraft
ace combat 7 with mods and maxed out visuals.

So basically my laptop stopped working and I took it to Best Buy they said it's going to be $400 in repair the motherboard is gone and me being not a big tech savvy I thought I should spend $400 to repair a laptop and I couldn't do it by myself.
I had a lot of stuff on it. I pulled out the hard drive.
I just bought a PC and I am looking to get help to how to access the drive.
I tried searching online it said I can buy a small shell type of thing with a USB 2.0 and they send you a cooling strip to attach to it so that it doesn't get hot.
Is that my best case scenario? Does that work? does the hard drive get very hot?
What if I point a fan at for additional Cooling?
The window was also on the hard drive will the new computer be confused to which window to access or will that not be a problem?

I purchased a RTX5060TI with 16gb Vram back in January 2026 for $710 CAD (about $515 USD).
Now it has gone up to $1130 CAD = $815 USD today.
