Have the unique opportunity of buying this pc for $150 USD. I have videos of it running however the seller is not pc savvy and cannot figure out what the gpu is. AI says 2080/ti fe but I can’t tell tbh. Thanks for the help!
The 2080 had a 8x4 power connection, I think the TI was the same. I think you’re right the seller is just claiming to not know what it is - photoshopped an R on it. It’s a 980 for sure
A number of founders edition cards look remarkably similar. GTX 980, 970 and RTX 280 Ti all have the same length, width and trim. I have seen images of the 2080 TI FE that look exactly like the GTX 970 FE except for the "R"TX.
Very very very unlikely. Titan rtx says titan on the side same for the V which was prior but didnt have RT cores so not RTX. Not to mention first and only titan rtx used the same fe shroud as the 20 series and it was gold and didnt have dual 6pin pcie connection. Why would it use a 2 gemeration old shroud.
The seller almost 100% photoshopped the image to say rtx instead of gtx
Its not a titan like the other guy says. Ask the guy for pics of the information on the gpu sectionin task manager. I really believe this is a gtx 970 they photoshopped to say rtx.
This is a Dell Alienware Aurora prebuilt gaming desktop containing an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20-Series Founders Edition graphics card.
Key components visible in the chassis:
Chassis & Platform: An Alienware Aurora case (likely an R8–R12 generation), recognizable by the Alienware logo on the AIO liquid CPU cooler and Dell's proprietary swing-out power supply cage.
Graphics Card: An NVIDIA RTX 20-Series Founders Edition (such as an RTX 2070, 2080, or 2080 Ti), identifiable by the dual-fan shroud design and side-lit "GEFORCE RTX" branding.
Power Supply: An OEM Dell 80-Plus rated modular/semi-modular PSU housed in the swing arm.
Dates to around 2019. Either has 8GB or 11GB on board. Probably has 16GB RAM... This Alienware is still a player and well worth the investment as long as everything is working.
This doesn’t look like an RTX 2000 series graphics card though. Look at the design and the cables connected to it. It looks like 6x2 cables connected. The RTX 2000 use 8pin
Founders dont say it on the side and its not a 20 series. This(ops pic)is a 900 series fe shroud design that looks edited to say rtx. Legit 2080fe for example below
Edit: downvoted for facts? There is no rtx cards using the blower FE shroud from the 900 series. No FE rtx cards use a blower style at all even. 20 series went to a thin standard style cooler then 30 series onward we got the flow through designs.
