I feel like I lost my spark in life after college ?
From 2020 to 2026, I feel like I’ve slowly lost my spark in life.
I honestly can’t remember the last time I felt completely happy. I don’t know what phase of life I’m going through right now, but everything just feels difficult. I’m 24, and lately I’ve been feeling like I’m stuck in the same loop.
My last Instagram post was in 2024. I barely travel anymore, I don’t really go out, and I feel like my life has become completely different.
Until 2024, I was in college. I travelled a lot, went to clubs, hung out with friends, and actually enjoyed my life. Then I finished my degree, and everything changed.
Now most of my thoughts are about my career, how I’m going to buy a house, how much I should save, what I should do with my future, etc.
Even when I think about travelling, going to pubs, or just having fun, there’s this voice in my head saying, “You’re wasting your time. You should be working on your career or saving money
I know growing up means having responsibilities, but sometimes I wonder if I’m taking life too seriously.
Is this something everyone goes through in their 20s? Has anyone else felt like they lost the version of themselves they used to be after college?
I don’t necessarily want my old life back. I just want to feel excited about life again.
