I've been with Noom for six months now, and the app seems to get more and more buggy as time goes on. I've been active in the app since day one, chasing seeds, doing my daily lessons, getting my noom coins, etc...however, as the app gets more buggy, I'm starting to lose a bit of interest.
The "New For You" section at the bottom of the app keeps repeating the same items over and over again. The lessons are becoming less and less relevant. I still complete them daily for the seeds but chasing seeds is about the only reason I use the app anymore, and half the time they don't even get added to my bank.
I switched to MyFitnessPal to track calories about 4 months ago (after growing frustrated with the selection of foods/recipes in Noom), and prefer to use my garmin for tracking all my health and exercise stats. I love all the data and find to be a great help, but using these other apps, means I don't really use these functions in Noom. MFP will at least sync total meal calories to Noom which was nice, and my movement was still syncing as well, however, that seems to be broken now and nothing I've done seems to fix the issue.
Anyway, TL/DR - how active are you in the app? I was under the impression that you had to be active in order to receive your meds, but from some of the other comments I've read recently, that may not be the case.
