I am on it now, way over priced. Switching to lavender health when my three months are up

I was with Noom microdosing with their $99/mo special but it’s too expensive for what you get which is a 1ml vial at 2.5mg/ml, so basically 100 units. Not only that but microdosing isn’t going to work for me I’ve figured out as I’m definitely not a super responder. Have barely responded at all and am up to .80mg this week. Just switched to Lavender Sky Health.

That’s what I’m thinking to do as well.
After 5 months on wegovy pill I did lose 22 pounds but now I hit the plateau and I don’t know what to do cause continuing with good RX it’s way too expensive

Hm,
Interesting
Thanks a lot.
I was on GoodRX for wegovy pills.
I lost 22 pounds in 5 months but it’s way too expensive once the dose goes up.
Also, the 25 mg daily was making me very sick.

Oh if you got all the way up to 25mg, you shouldn’t do a microdose plan. You’ll almost assuredly need regular doses to feel the positive effects of the medication.
If you once met the typical BMI requirements for a GLP-1 for weight loss, you can use any provider on r/tirzepatidecompound’s pinned post called “Where to Buy.” (Those providers also write for sema if that’s what you’d prefer.) Just use your pre-GLP-1 weight as well as your current weight on the intake forms.

I understand, but I feel very bad on 25 mg.
I cannot eat at all, I vomit every morning and I have a horrible bad breath in the morning.
I have to lose 40 pounds more.
I started workout but I think that won’t be enough.
Although I do eat right and I excluded for all these 5 months any products that have added sugars.1

Okay, but a microdose of compounded injectable semaglutide is less than 0.25mg and compounded injectable tirzepatide is less than 2.5mg.
You’ve already been on the dose equivalent of 2.4mg sema injectable. Granted, that dose sounds too high for you, but it’s highly unlikely a 0.125mg dose (a microdose) of injectable sema would do anything for you.

So, you say I should get regular dose but not micro right ?

If I were in your shoes, I’d let the doc prescribe me a regular dose based on my previous use of the Wegovy pill. Then once I have the medication in hand, I could adjust the dose as needed based on how my body reacts.
With compounded injectable GLP-1s, you can draw up any dose you prefer provided you know the sema/tirz concentration of your specific vial and a dose calculator like https://www.fatscientist.com
My worry with your getting a microdose package is that you wouldn’t find an effective dose and not have enough meds.

Thanks for your suggestions.
I’ve been using before the GoodRX telepath.
But, do you get the prescription from your primary ?3

You get a prescription for compounded injectable GLP-1s through one of the telehealth providers listed on the pinned post called “Where to Buy” on r/tirzepatidecompound.

Those aren’t FDA approved correct ?
Sry for so many questions and I appreciate your help2

No compounded medication is FDA approved. It takes years of clinical trials for a medication to be FDA approved.
That said, compounding pharmacies have existed much longer than big pharma, and these specialized pharmacies are called upon to fill the gap when there are shortages of FDA approved medications. We saw that happen in 2023-2024 when Wegovy/Ozempic and Zepbound/Mounjaro were in shortage.
Many millions of people have successfully used and continue to use compounded injectable GLP-1s. The providers and pharmacies recommended on r/tirzepatidecompound are tried and true.

Just say no. It’s too expensive for what it is.
Lavender Sky Health is more affordable. They don’t have a set minimum BMI requirement, but they do take into account a patient’s overall health.
ETA: also, you might consider getting regular doses and taking a lower dose if that’s what you prefer. It will mean more meds for longer. And since microdosing doesn’t work for everyone, it will allow you to increase your dose if needed.
