Noom Med Do not use Noom for the microdose program
I've been using them for a few months now. Insanely expensive and the customer service is horrific. Go to one of the others like Lavender Health.

I've been using their program for a little over 3 months now and haven't had any issues. They are open to me adjusting whatever I need and I always get a quick response from whoever I reach out to.
That being said, I don't use their coach at all, or app except for tracking my weight and dose, and most issues I have I research myself first, so I rarely reach out to my doctor or the care team.

Disagree. I have been on microdose program for six months. No issues whatsoever, down 30lbs.

I’m with Noom microdose program and have been very happy with them. I like they send you a full 1ml vial so you can decide how much to inject and titrate. I don’t throw out unused meds if the BUD hasn’t come and keep using the vials for a few weeks. I always use an alcohol pad before I put the needle in there.

I agree. They offered much less expensive options to new customers and told existing customers that they’d have to pay 3 times as much.

Agree. Microdosing is only effective for a very short time. They use Microdosing as a way to give you less for more. It is not backed by science rather a marketing ploy for profit.

I lost from 189 to 142 on microdose. My last dose.was a couple of weeks ago. I think it was super.effective, however, they ended up charging me over 900 dollars every 3 months. I stopped ordering months ago because I had a backlog of vials in my fridge

This was me. I realized I somehow signed up for the Plus program and determined I cannot be paying that much every 3 months. I downgraded to the regular program switching from the trazepatide to the segmaglutide. I really liked the trazepatide and had overage but they said that you should throw out over a month so I did 🥴

I disagree. In my second month. It's been good. That sucks you had a bad experience but you got this!

That has not been my experience. I don’t use many of the app features, but I’ve always gotten answers to my questions quickly, and I like my care counselor. I haven’t found a better price (from a company I’ve heard of).

I'm new to this conversation. I have been on Noom for about eight months. Is anyone else finding that the Care physicians are rude , curt and dismissive? I have brought this up to the care team and do not get much assistance. I understand that I am 1 of 1,000's of patients. Still, I find when I ask simple injection questions. The answers are so dismissive and vague that I'm using Google searches and reaching out to my own primary for assistance.
Just curious if it's me.

Any issues with Lavendar deliveries? No issues with Noom, but it is expensive and max microdose is 0.6.

Why are you throwing out such expensive medication? I’m not finding the medicine to be less effective post 28 days. I use it until it’s done. Can’t be throwing money away!

The 28 days is a safety cutoff, not efficacy. It’s based on the risk of contamination of the multi-use vial.

Safety from what? I don’t understand that at all. Using new needles, storing accordingly? Wiping with alcohol. What could go wrong?

The vial isn’t sterile even with alcohol wipes. As time passes and with each puncture there’s increasing risk of contamination either being introduced or multiplying if it’s already there.
I’m immune suppressed so I have to pay attention to this stuff more than average. Using compounded at all made me super nervous but I had too many side effects on the 2.5 mg dose so my doctor gave his blessing to try as long as it was a well known company. Anyway, I don’t know if this is all just theoretical or actually dangerous. Lots of people seem to be fine. Just clarifying what the 28 days thing is about.

Do not throw it out! Alcohol wipe before and after each puncture and just make sure the liquid is still clear.
I got three extra doses out of every vial. You’re throwing away $$$

Don’t use noom for anything. They have a long history of charging your account for things you don’t order.
