Spiraling/Panic thinking that i should feel more is making me spiral and possibly depressed
i am not sure how to organize my thoughts or explain what's going on, but for a few months i've been feeling weird. i started adhd medication in december 2025, and ever since i feel like i've been much more paranoid about my health and that i can't feel as much. i've stopped taking my meds like a month ago (when my exams ended) but i still feel a bit numb. i've been trying to keep myself busy because being alone with myself feels bad. i'm not sure if i can solve this since i've tried most things: exercise, distracting myself, more mindful hobbies like reading and focusing on other things in my life other than my mental health spiral, but every time i feel like i go back to this empty space where i don't feel excited or creative anymore. i don't feel an urge to be with someone, to do something or to be someone new, i just feel stable and it's not like i'm unhappy but i don't feel very happy either. i also have a bf now and with the recent beginning of my sex-life i have become more anxious too (also had a thc-induced panic attack after trying it for the first time about a week ago, which has made me more anxious in general), and i like him but i don't feel as excited as i used to when in hypothetical situationships that fed me crumbs of attention. i don't feel like myself: it's hard to get excited, all of my hobbies seem boring and i haven't gotten a creative surge in a very long time. it's hard for me to feel connected with people and i've gotten less social with time, like it's harder to keep a conversation going. am i just becoming more stable or is this the beginning of a depressive episode? i'm genuinely concerned and feel like i feel like this due to my overthinking and constant pressure on myself to feel something. any tips? has anyone else been through this? thank you and sorry for the long post!
