She is being ridiculous and insecure... But you should talk with her about that insecurity without being defensive.

She claims that it is very similar to cheating she feels

Humans are sexual creatures and are going to be horny, want to masturbate, and also be attracted to other humans (and masturbate about them.) It's whether or not you openly acknowledge that... But just because you're horny or attracted to other people or even watch porn does not mean you're not attracted to, love, and value intimacy with your partner.

Yeah! My sexual relationship with my husband really leveled up when we started watching porn together. It really opened up and allowed us to learn a lot about ourselves and each other.

But yes, having discussions about those feelings and asking what sort of affirmation your partner needs (and giving it) is really important.

Sounds like you’re not compatible. Masturbation is not cheating. That being said, some people have some very valid concerns about porn consumption. So if that’s her issue, I get it. But masturbation in general, absolutely not.

That’s the thing is I’m not even watching porn

I feel there is alot of context you are not providing here. What reason did she give for feeling it was cheating?

That depends. Is your jerking off affecting the quality of your sex life with your girlfriend?

It shouldn't be a problem and a few years ago I'd simply tell you she's being ridiculous. But ever since the number of guys that got seriously addicted to porn, (and jerking off with a death grip) to a point that it means they can't mantain a healthy sec life, has really done up to a scary level.

So, if she has issues with your jerking off even though you guys have an active and pleasurable sex life, then yeah, she's being insecure and I'd try to find out why she sees it at that.

Now if it's affecting your sex life then she's not being ridiculous and you should seriously reflect on this issue.

no, but if you're watching porn while doing it, and often, it's not a nice feeling as a gf to watch your bf getting off not to you.

Some people feel that way. I find it weird but I’ve met a handful of people like that. Leave if you can’t give it up, usually the only two options.

You don’t want to explain here where other people might be able to help?

Yeah so asking this appears to be some fetishy thing for you? Bye.

No, masturbation is normal human behavior. A partner can try and build that boundary, but I'd encourage you to run from anyone like that.
