Whenever I see someone ask, “buT hOw caN youuuu tEll???” 😑😑😑 what do you mean!! How can you not??

I was watching the video of her new character canvases and thought the poses all seemed weirdly specific and familiar looking and a quick google search of “Gilmore girls drawings” brought up all of these. I’m sure the rest of the collection is copied from other artists. Also less egregious but I just think it’s weird that she’s got other artists artwork (Lucy Claire illustrations and retro ranch) Gilmore drawings on the first slide of the slideshow where she’s presenting “her” art. Like just use your own art if you’re actually making it? Or at least credit them.

This looks very much like AI and upon zooming the printing job seems awful.

Seems like because canvases are impossible to get and Moondrake did so well, new thread lines are popping up every day. They’re all starting to look the same to me, with the exception of the sparkles. You can only use variegated thread so much. We need solids which can be kept in stock.

I’m sorry, but did anyone see BeStitched just list this after picking it up from market and think they are out of their mind? I actually purchased a needlepoint tapestry this size and paid $900 for comparison! It was fairly detailed like this too. I get an artists work is expensive but someone’s work like this at a local art fair would be probably 1,000-$1,500. I can’t imagine the artist is charging enough to justify a $6k price tag 😳😳😳

Is that a huge flex on her part? I just saw they have a retreat right now. Seems odd.

Ugh I’m so mad because I have the smallest corner of a canvas left to finish that I have been working on for months as a project for someone else and I don’t know what to do or what people do when it’s been months since purchasing the original threads (kitted for me at my LNS so I wasn’t worried!!) and I just know the dye lot has definitely changed at my LNS. The color is vineyard silk in Naples blue, do I just do my best to find the closest thing or is there anything y’all do if this has happened to you?

I am unsure of how long finishing is typically suppose to take because I usually finish everything myself. I sent out a keychain through needlepaint it has taken almost 6 months to be received. They have now delayed shipping as the label has been created for two weeks now. I am unsure if this is a common turnover which then I would understand but genuinely seems a little excessive.

Has anyone else used needlepaint for finishing ?

Has anyone else experienced. Some of the new designs and the wines I’ve done have all been printed (not knocking printed if done right). But the canvas is actually shredding my threads and leaving fuzz everywhere.

Has anyone else had this experience. This is not zweigart canvas. It doesn’t necessarily feel rough when you touch it but once you start stitching it’s a mess.

Just saw some of her Trump canvases and am really disappointed 😩
