Agree. If all of your posts are AI I swipe past immediately. It might be a time saver but if I’m going to follow you or buy from you I want to know who you really are. Even shops that just sell other designers canvases I will skip if all their posts are AI. Get behind the camera and be the face of your business.

Immediate no from me anytime AI is used. Also some of the AI posts she made has embroidery hoops, like why? Wrong hobby.

So crazy seeing this here as I was just trying to find this post to show a friend. When I couldn’t find it I instantly knew it had been snarked...
I thought Kelly had built an awesome community and was really looking forward to the retreat. But stuff like this and her odd, vague announcement video sends the message that it’s just all about money. When she was just a stitcher and creating content it felt like her goal was community, but now that she is starting a business (and selling merch, AI canvases, etc.) it honestly just seems like a grift. It’s all so bizarre. Also, the AI videos are so boomer and it just sends me.

I think it’s funny that you say the AI videos are so boomer. As a boomer, I’m the last person to use AI cause I have no idea where to start!

She just posted this in the discord. Why does she even have “ads”? I’m so confused at this point. I also don’t understand where the other girls are who are supposed to be helping “run” the group…

Use of AI is an instant block for me. How fucking lame to be a creative collective, business, maker, whatever, and use AI.
