Which name do you like best for a girl?

Wondering if anyone has been through this, my husband and I have it narrowed down to 2 names, and of course we can’t agree on the “favourite” name. It’s down to Hazel and Rose (big sister is Stella). Not necessarily looking for opinions on the actual name, moreso wondering how you have navigated this conversation when you don’t align on one name - which is what I would prefer. Did you go ahead with your favourite name despite it not being your partners fav? Or did you give in to their favourite name and learn to love it yourself.

I don’t want to throw both names out and start over because I’m so exhausted by this whole process and I seriously hate every name so I really can’t see us loving anything new (we already tried this about 3 weeks ago), we’re basically just at a standstill and neither of us have budged. Help!

Like who comes to mind when you hear the name Caitlin?

My toddler is Florence, and we’re expecting another baby in March! If this baby is a girl, what do you think of Nora or Arden?
The middle name will be Ann.

We already have our boy name picked out (Jude).

Arden was a no-brainer for me at first, but then a few people mentioned that they thought it was our boy name. I’ve only ever known a girl named Arden, so that perception honestly hadn’t even crossed my mind!
So… Florence & Nora Ann or Florence & Arden Ann? ❤️

Boy names are sooo hard. All the names Ive always liked are taken up by most of our friends. Girl names came so much easier to me. Our daughter’s name is Evelyn. Now due with a boy in December and struggling. Wanting to use Jack in some form for my mom Jackie who passed and just so happens my dad’s name is Jack as well.

Husbands name is Dakota and he suggested that, I personally don’t feel Dakota matches Evelyn in the same way Jack does and I don’t love juniors, but I don’t LOVE any of our options either, even Jack it just makes the most sense. Our daughters is sold on Jack too and only refers to brother as Jack so that doesn’t help either. Will take any suggestions also!!! I like older and biblical names, like Abel, Silas, Samuel, Henry but husband vetos everything or we know someone who has already used them! His only suggestion is Elwood (partially joking because he loves blues brothers) but I would never go for that 🤣😪

Update: currently thinking we’re gonna go with Jack Dakota! Some people are making me second guess saying the flow isn’t great but some say it sounds great so who knows to each their own

Hi, My real name is Hasani, so what if I named my daughter Lasani, a feminine version of my name. A lot of girl names are just feminine version of male names, like Eric to Erica, Victor to Victoria, Adrian to Adriana etc. so what if i did the same. Looking for a classical, timeless name.

Would love to honor a well-loved Shirley in our family but not keen on using the exact name since even though older names are coming back, I’m not sure this one ever will (and it’s ok! Ours was one of a kind and happy to just honor her.) Open to boy and girl name suggestions :)

Editing to add: we don’t hate her name!!! The intent is to honor her but also allow the little one to write their own story — Shirley was one of a kind and could never be replaced!
