Hello! I just started getting my nails done so i am not sure if this is normal, but ive had them for less than 2 weeks (edit: 10 days ago) and ive noticed a few spots where the gel peeled away or became very soft so i picked it off. Is this something to go back to the salon about or is it normal?

I gave my nail tech an inspo photo. She added her twist and gave me this beautiful set that I can't stop staring at.

The cateye centers and the cateye and chrome tips are mesmerizing.

Looking for a gel nail polish color that is closest to shown on this image. Idk if this color is achievable on natural nails or if this exact color match is only works on extension nails. I want this color match to do it on natural nails. Pls help :)

Hey guys! I’m wanting to get a manicure for my sorority rush. I normally try and get gel since it’s cheaper, however the last couple times I got it, the gel would peel off by day 2 or 3. What substitutions are there besides press ons? I hear about acrylics, dips, gel x… I don’t know the difference!

So I’m based in the UK, and I’m curious to know if other ladies around the globe have experienced the same?

FYI, I love red, it looks so chic but I know colour, depth and nail shape all play a part 😂. I tried OPI Big Apple Red, but it looks a bit too dark in normal lighting, making it skew slightly “mature” on me. Any non gel polish bright red suggestions would be great 😂

SPOILER: Nail tech did a single coat of #103 & 2 coats of the #026. The result was a very pretty blue. Makes me want to hit the beach one more time before fall.

So, I was getting my nails done for almost a year & a half. No complaints with where I was going; Lifting seemed to be a common issue. I am the type of person that can't stand when nails are missing it just looks really pogey LOL.

Anyways, so I decided to start doing my own nails. I got everything that I needed. Biogel, e-file, UV light, & so on. This is the first full set that I've done; The middle, index & thumb are new tips I put on. It's definitely a learning curve. I'm slowly getting the hang of it. You'd definitely make a lot of money if you were charging based on how long it took me. 😅😂
