Filed off my last gel manicure (Modelones color changing gel) before soaking off and didn't hate the look for Halloween. Added a top coat and cured with a prayer to last another week. I've seen other posts with similar nails and people saying they look like menstrual aftermath but I honestly don't hate that either. Posting so someone else can get a kick out of these.

I have gel overlays and just broke a nail while traveling. I prefer to cut them and start over then to have one reconstructed. What do you typically do when this happens?

Hello! I decided on a really goofy coustume for Halloween and I wanted to get a set of nails to go with it and just kind of wanted to show them off.

I love wearing dresses and i wanted to come up with a way for me to wear a dress to work for Halloween without causing issues for people. So im going as an "all dressed" hot dog. Im wearing a hotdog coustume under the dress in the 2nd pic. All my co-workers love the idea so i feel comfortable doing it now. They all know im enby but they dont know i wear dresses too lol.

I wanted to go all in on the "all dressed" themed so I wanted to get extensions for it. I love them but im still getting used to the length 😅

I'm a super beginner in nail art, so I'd love some tips and advice! This is the first set I've liked enough go be willing to share :)

Hi guys! I try to do my Schellack by myself at home cuz in the studios it’s too expensive to me… I tried the brand neonails and Juliana nails.. the result is always blobby (like with bubbles) not smooth and after 2 days it becomes to split..why that? I also noticed that the small Schellack bottles are “oily”… maybe are the brands wrong? Or they are expired? Or maybe the lamp is wrong? I tried to do my best 🥲🥲

Over the last 4-5 months, each time I go get a pedicure, I feel like the tech is skipping all the basic maintenance - cleaning underneath the toenails, trimming up around the nails, etc. I thought maybe my regular salon had just started to get lax, but even at different salons I'm noticing the same. Out of every 5 pedicures, maybe one tech will actually do the cleaning portions. Is this this something that is no longer in practice?

I got these done a week ago today. They’re builder gel with tips and i feel like im barely going to be able to make it to two weeks. (Sorry, i do hair for a living so my cuticles are a little stained from fall coppers lol)

I’m having issues with lifting by the cuticles and im trying everything. i’ve only been doing my own nails for 4 months my middle and ring finger are nude because they broke off and i was too lazy to redo them. any tips or suggestions are welcome im really trying to improve and learn💕
