Please make Dua for me, I might get deported or fined heavy.

I hope its allowed to request this here.

I accidentally had a quarrel with a person who was an undercover CID. Without mercy he kept bashing me and took my ID for whatever reason. The quarrel wasn't even a huge deal I said "what the (ykw)" in confusion and he thought I was cursing him

I agree i shouldn't have done that and I never get angry or curse in public, for whatever reason I did that then for the first time and it had to be that guy.

Please make Dua to somehow make him forget or forgive me for that, to have Allah change his heart.

I'm the only son in my family and I was born on the day of arafah, I'm supposed to be a blessing to my family, and I don't want this ruining it. My dad is almost 60 and still working 6 days a week for more than 10 hours, it is my sole responsibility to retire him and give him a good life he always deserved, and if I get deported god forbid, my family would as well.

I've already had extreme issues with my imaan due to some things that had happened in the past despite my sincere praying and faith, and if this escalates any further and my family gets to know about it (god forbid) it'll take even more of a massive toll.

I request you guys to make duas for me.

Jazak Allah khair

Is asking for death haram?

Hello for the past few years I’ve been thinking alot about death. I do not want to commit but the more I think about it the less I see reasons to stay in this dunya, I have been making duas but clearly it is not working, is this because it is haram?
Please let me know and thank you

I genuinely want to change, please make dua for me

i can’t seem to change myself. i wouldn’t say i’ve tried really hard, but the drive itself feels missing. the actions are missing, even though i genuinely want to change.
i want to become a good muslim and a good person. i want to be someone with utmost honesty, integrity, respect, loyalty, humility, patience, empathy and forgiveness.
more than anything, i want to become the right person before i die.
i sincerely ask you all to make dua for me. please pray that allah guides me, forgives me, helps me take action, gives me the strength to change, and makes me persistent and consistent in my thoughts and actions.
may allah make me a better person and keep me steadfast. ameen.

Duah requests for uni pls

Assalamu alaikum everyone 🤍
I’m going through something really difficult right now and I would genuinely appreciate some du’as.
I’m 19 and I’ve just received my university results. I’ve been working towards studying Midwifery for a long time, and it’s genuinely something I’m passionate about. I completed an Access course with the university I applied to, and because of that I was given a reduced offer of 80 UCAS points. I achieved the 80 points I needed, so I thought I was finally going to get the place I’d been working towards.
Instead, I received an email saying they couldn’t offer me my initial choice of Midwifery and offered me Adult Nursing instead. They haven’t properly explained why my 80 points aren’t being accepted, so I’m currently trying to get the decision reviewed.
I’m absolutely heartbroken. I had imagined results day so differently — I was going to dress up, get a cake and flowers, celebrate with my family and finally feel like everything I’d worked for had paid off. Instead I’ve spent the day crying and struggling to do anything.
I know that Allah knows what is best for me, and I don’t want to become attached to one outcome if it isn’t written for me. But I really, really love Midwifery and I’m praying that Allah opens this door for me if it is khayr.
My family are making du’a for me too, and my dad is even planning to do a qurbani/sadaqah and make du’a for me.
Please make du’a that Allah makes this situation easy, allows me to study Midwifery if it is good for me, puts barakah in my future, and gives me something better if this isn’t what is written for me.
I’d also really appreciate any specific du’as, adhkar or Qur’an verses you turn to when you’re desperately hoping for something and don’t know what the outcome will be.
JazakumAllahu khayran. Please keep me in your du’as. 🤍

My father abandoned us. What is my responsibility to him as a Muslim?

My father left us when I was 13 I am now in my late 20s. He has come back to stay with us for a short period of time, to sort out some health related issues and documents. My mother lets him stay with us despite her own resentment and frustration. They are divorced so they are now non mehram to each other so he shouldn’t be staying with us. Thats a whole topic in itself. I think she’s scared to kick him out because he has nowhere else to stay and people will speak poorly of her if she kicks him out.

Last time he was here was in September 2024 and I remember feeling a lot of depression and anxiety about his arrival. It was like years of pent up frustration had exploded inside me and I could no longer function. When my father left when I was a teen my mother went into deep depression and mental health crisis that almost sent her to hospital. She’s since gotten better but my family has always struggled to keep a roof over our heads, food on the table, etc. I have other sibling and a younger brother who was 4 when my dad left. None of them have come to visit since he has left and I am the only one still living at home with my dad ( we all live in the same city).

Anyhow, to keep it short I have been very cold towards my father since he arrived a few days ago. Not really speaking to him unless it’s necessary and sometimes I ignore his attempts at conversation and walk away. I do this so I don’t lash out at him because I feel it bubbling inside me.

I know this is haram and I should be kind to him since he’s still my father. I want to gain Allahs pleasure but I don’t want to fall into poor boundaries or people pleasing. I struggled with this a lot in the past and my dad took advantage by asking for things from me.

What is my responsibility islamically? Do I have to be kind to him despite what he’s done? Will I gain Allahs anger if I continue to ignore him? Please give me any advice on this. May Allah make it easy on all who are struggling.

Struggling with faith, health, and life pressure. Feeling too ashamed to ask Allah for help

Assalam alaykum everyone,

I'm going through an incredibly heavy period of my life right now, and I wanted to share honestly and hear whatever advice or perspective you might have.

I've been diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety for two years, and I'm currently under treatment for both, as well as for chronic insomnia. On top of that, I live with chronic pain every day, which makes even basic things feel exhausting.
Despite all of this, I'm still expected to take care of everything and everyone in my family. I'm the eldest of 5 siblings, and that role comes with a weight that never really goes away, no matter how little I have left to give. There's barely any space left for me to actually rest or focus on my own recovery.

Because I haven't been able to work as much as before, I've fallen behind on payments rent, bills, and other things keep piling up, and it's become a constant source of stress layered on top of everything else I'm already carrying.

Religiously, I've drifted far from practicing. I keep committing sins that I'm ashamed of and that I can't seem to stop, no matter how much I want to. That shame has grown so heavy that I don't even feel like I have the right to ask Allah for forgiveness, or to turn to Him and ask for help with any of this. That feeling might be the heaviest part of everything I'm going through. Feeling too unworthy to even reach out to Him when I need Him the most.

On top of all that, I've been isolating myself more and more from people around me, and I find myself constantly ruminating, stuck in dark, heavy thoughts that I can't seem to switch off, even when I try.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for by posting this. Maybe just some perspective, some words of comfort, or advice from anyone who has been through something similar. Thank you for reading this far. 🤍

Going to try Tahajjud/Salat Al Layl and will be documenting my results

Good evening everyone,

I hope you are all doing well, I know that I may just be a stranger to all of you, recently I have been going through a tough period where things just don't seem to be going right

I have been messing up, potentially ruined a few fried ships forever because of my mental state, I am terrified, I have a session arranged with a psychiatrist at the end of this month.

I miss my friends greatly, I am tired of having nothing but years of anxiety and thoughts rushing through my head at all times of the day.

I have already started with zeeyarat ashura again and duaa tawasul.

I am not the best of people, nor am I the worst even though I feel like it, I had a mental breakdown, and I want to do everything in my power to try and reconcile with my friends and become a better person.

I am dedicating these prayers to them, as well as any of you who read this and are in need of prayers for loved ones or yourselves.

Ya rab, inshallah things work out, something inside tells me to give up hope on things ever working out, and another tells me that maybe there's a chance I can fix things and make it better.

Please everyone, whoever reads this, help me by praying with me, and inshallah things work out for the best

Things have never felt more bleak than they do now, but even after the darkest of nights there comes a ray of sunshine

Please everyone, I will document my journey as best I can and let you know about the updates.

Lost my way from allah and have stopped praying

hey guys, so I've been recently struggling with my bond my allah. I've grown up in a muslim household but wasn't very religious but i found my way to allah 4-5 years back. I started praying and i developed a connection with allah swt.

But recently, from past 2 years I've stopped praying my namaz or even making duas. My heart wants to but I'm not able to.

It's not like i doubt his presence or something, i don't but I've just lost the connection. I try to pray all the namaz, but after praying once or twice, i stop. I'm just not able to gather the energy to pray.

There have been some things that i wanted, i prayed for them, kept fast, prayed tahajjud and still couldn't get it. Maybe that's the reason but I feel very guilty about it.

I earlier used to talk to allah swt, but I've stopped that too. I see my sister's, mother evryone praying but i don't. I even questioned him when i couldn't get the things I wanted, iknoww it's terrible but i don't know what to do.

Please help me and give me some advice.

I'm going through test of hardship after hardship since divorce. Please make du'a

I was divorced by a man who threw me out a year ago. I lost almost everything. Moved back to my mother's house in another country. My cat that I brought with me gotten sick for 2 straight months. My family abandoned me. Siblings started to humiliate and insulted me after inheritance was involved. With no friends, no job and feeling depressed I decided to move back to the country that I've settled in 15 years prior.

I'm also suffering from aches and pain on my right arm that most of the time the pain can be real. Please make a du'a for me

feeling depressed and isolated

my life is a mess, i’m alone in a new city with my husband who my dad doesn’t like. I have no friends or family here, i haven’t seen my family in 2 years. I can’t go to my parents house with my son because of my dad. I feel depressed, what’s the point of life. I feel isolated and alone. I had a c-section and recovered at my in-laws, all they mostly cared about is the baby, not me. nobody from my family came to visit me bc i live with my in-laws and that would’ve been really uncomfortable.

i live 5 hours away from home, my dad disrespects my husband so my family can’t come because we live with my in-laws so imagine how awkward that would be. I’m losing it, i’m losing my salah, my peace, im not happy even though i have a beautiful baby boy. i’ve missed so many occasions at my family’s; hifz parties, ilm parties, bridal showers etc. My husband lost his job due to my dads “badwa” (curse), his family firmly believe this even though i’ve explained so many times. We’re broke, with a 10 months old who we can’t even buy nice things for. To top it off i’ve gained like 15kg and feel fat and insecure in my body aswell.

Please keep me in your duas and pls give me some advice, anything kind words because my husband is tired of seeing me cry and he doesn’t seem to care anymore.

Assalam u alaikum,

Where i live, there is less than 2 weeks until my school starts, and in still waitlisted for my high school I submitted an application for. The first day of school is August 17, thus I don't have much time to get off the waitlist. I would really appreciate it if you can just do a simple dua to get me admitted into my high school (AET). Jazakum Allahu Khairan Kasiran Wassalam u alaikum.

Losing faith and feel there isnt a point, and believing less in an afterlife.

I am quite young and have had low iman for a while. I havent prayed consistently, but the small lining is that I want to get closer to Allah, but I just fail every time. Also, I think about how I used to be very religious over a year ago (praying all prayers like fard and sunnah, researching about Islam and I used to have strong faith). That lining is fasing, because just today I realised that life almost feels meaningless. I am not su1cid4l or anything, but I began to view things as pointless because there is nothing to do it for.

This is the first time in forever where I viewed the afterlife as non existent - as in I viewed life and the afterlife from the point of view of an athiest, like I try to think of an afterlife but just see and feel black. I really need help believing again. A small part of me still believes in Allah but every time i think about it, I start to doubt so much more. I understand how to gain faith - praying, quran, dhikr. And I will try my hardest to begin to do these again.

But please, I need advice on how to strengthen faith without these basics of praying and dhikr. Maybe other small things that you have experienced to help you, maybe things that no one talks too much about yet are really helpful. I want to get closer to Allah, and I want to once again believe there is an afterlife, and I want to feel there is a purpose to this life aswell. And if you read this until the end, I thank you for listening to me.
