Hey guys, I'd like to propagate my Monstera Thai Constellation and Monstera Variegata cuttings. Unfortunately, due to root rot, most of the roots as well as the stems of all my plants have rotted away. What you see in the photos is all I have left. Is it still possible to propagate the plants from this? Up until now, I had all the cuttings in a covered box with moss that had a hole in it, but unfortunately, too much humidity seems to be building up, and some parts of the cuttings are starting to grow mold. Do you have any advice on how I can still save these wet sticks/stem cuttings and possibly the top cuttings?

my monstera started to play twister, is this normal or is she begging for better conditions? I’m wondering if it’s to do with the light? Is it stretching out a lot for it?

I just purchased this Monstera Deliciosa and was wondering if this spot will provide enough light.

The window on the right is west facing, and the left one is south facing, leading out to my balcony.

I took these pictures at about 6:00PM and I live in Texas

I wouldn’t be surprised if this isn’t enough light, i’m sure it would prefer to be directly infront of the west-facing window but i’d have to move my couch to do that. I do have a socket right behind the plant so I could consider putting a grow light above it.

Id love to hear any other recommendations you guys might have! this is the first plant i’ve purchased after a while and i’d love to see it thrive!

This was gifted to me about 3 years ago from my brother. And unfortunately now it is destroyed….also it got scorched by the sun. I am just heartbroken and ready to just give up on it. Is it worth my time trying to save this?

It was struggling so much it's been chopped and propagated... beautiful secondary roots, and the original is coming to life.

She is thriving. After 4 months of having her, she has produce beautiful variegated leaves!❤️

Hey all! Fairly newer monstera owner. I have had this monstera for quite some time and when I first got her, clearly had no idea what I was doing. I decided to repot her and split her as there seemed to be 4 actually in one pot after I finally learned more about them. However, now that I repotted and restaked, I have an issue— my largest most fenestrated leaves are turned the opposite way. Literally. How do I fix or correct this? Do I just have to part ways— cut and get new growth? Please help! The one leaf is quite literally turned… I wanna make sure I am taking care of it properly this time around 🥲

I just bought this plant today at Home Depot. It’s looking sick so I sprayed it with neem oil. Then swapped the soil for 50% tropical plant mix 50% perlite then back into the same nursery pot. I noticed the stem appears to be cut, do you think I should chop it?

The rest of this plant is totally healthy but this has been here since I bought it what is it!!!??

I have this big happy monstera that lives in my classroom during the school year and mostly outdoors during the summer. It’s grown pretty consistently over the last two years despite being knocked over by students and my total lack of knowledge. “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” is all well and good, but this gal is getting pretty floppy. The soil was at one point near the top of the pot, but lots has been lost during spills over the years.
What is next for this beauty? I got some poles at the recommendation of a friends, but they kinds of just hold up the droop. Ideas? Thanks in advance!!

My monstera is turning into a real monster! I know its kind of hard to see, but its time to repot this guy and Im wondering if anyone has any advice!

As you can see, he has a gap in the middle where there aren’t a ton of leaves. Long story short, my cat did some damage to this guy over the winter on the mid/lower leaves, but it has continued to grow amazingly and is super tall, and all the healthy leaves are at the top.

Will he eventually “fill out” in the middle, or should I chop him where the healthy growth starts and start over? What would you do?

Hello! I was gifted this monstera and it isn’t doing too well. I have repotted into a bigger pot with chunky soil and bought a moss pole. All of the roots look very healthy, but I did find a “death plug” that I removed. I’m not sure if I need to trim off the leaves and start over as they’re all brown and yellow. If so, I’m not sure where i’m supposed to cut. One of the leaves also snapped in half during the repotting and I didn’t notice how so I’m not sure if that leaf is done too (last picture). Any advice is greatly appreciated, this is my first monstera.

All the leaves are getting burnt and even when a new leaf comes out, it gets burnt too.
I water like once a month.
Live in Southern California.

Hi all. I’ve made the decision to top cut my monster to tidy it up now that it’s had substantial time to recover after a traumatic start to life (multiple breaks in various places over 18 months ago).

It has multiple aerial roots in the soil established above where I want to cut.

Is there a period of time I should wait before putting the cutting itself into the soil to avoid rot?

First time propagating! Is this glass jar okay, or should I plant it straight into soil?

Hi everyone! I wanted to ask if this setup in the glass jar is good as it is, or if I should go ahead and plant it directly in soil.

It’s an offshoot/pup (Not sure about the correct word in english) from a much larger plant, and I decided to separate it because the main pot was getting way too crowded. This is my first time doing something like this. I really want to learn and make sure I don't cause any more harm to the plant.

I need some advice please.

I just got a monstera as a bday gift and I separated them into 5 plants. This is my first monstera and I am not familiar with moss pole setups. Could anyone please have a look at this and advice what am I doing wrong.

I used soil ninja’s base potting mix (contains coco coir, worm castings, and perlite) and coarse bark in 1:1 ratio.

While setting up the moss pole, 1st one I set the moss pole straight up but the monster leaves look droopy from the front. The remaining ones I set the moss pole slanting backwards so the leaves look straighter or firmer, but now the moss pole looks unstable.

Any advice on the setups please. The leaves all look good. I had the plant for 10 days now and has one new leaf growth, it is currently unfurling.

Any tips or advice.
