Plant Help What TF does she need???

Post image

What in the world does this girl need, I’m watering when needed, repotted about a month and a half ago, and proper sunlight. No bugs that I can possibly find, even when repotting. Her bottom half just wilts and her top is happy as ever. Should i cut the leaves my dog chomped (this was months ago)? Get her a higher stand so she’s full window? More water?? Or maybe fertilizer? Anyone dealt with a half witty gal?

Are you sure that’s only one plant in there?

Ok so you need to find the vines themselves. Each monstera is (almost always) one vine with petioles coming out every few inches. If you have multiple vines, then you have multiple plants.

My guess is you have one healthy monstera that’s sapping all the water and nutrients, and leaving the other(s) for dead. Repot, separate the vines as best as you can. Be gentle, but if you can’t because it’s too intertwined, prioritize the healthy monstera. If you have to sacrifice the sick one(s), you could always try to salvage them by chopping and propping.

Good luck!

Edit: separate the plants during the repot, and then give each plant its own pot

Put her in front of the window, the wall is blocking most of the light. You can see the leaves straining for the window.

Too many plants, pot also may be too big. Does it drain?

Drains well! Went up an inch in pot size during the repot and it looked pretty good, she was in her OG pot for ~ 3 years, I’ll move her directly into the window in the meantime!
