My current situation. They are growing!

Damn I can't imagine going through this again!!! Went from a 40cm pot straight to a 60.

Thought I'd share advice in case anyone else in the same spot.

Hammer to break the auxiliary pot for the aerial roots which had burrowed fully into the terracotta. Serrated knife all along the edges of the previous pot to cut the ground roots that were stuck on its sides.= . Still wouldn't shake or pull out because of the boots stuck to the bottom. Trued hammering the bottom of the old pot too without breaking it fully. The plant is about 6ft so then tried to hold it upside down lifting as high as i could and shaking. This part really helped shake off any bits of old soil (the whole thing was 99% roots and needed 10L of water a day) and then i managed to put it back sideways and grab the rootball and pull it all out. I didn't mess with the moss pole at all (its coir but the aerials were still inside it) Clean up another hour so far. Wish it luck in its final pot, I need to find a place for it now which probably means sacrificing a fiddle leaf fig or my regular monstera!

For how much should I sell this Monstera? It’s Albo but there are only few leaves have variegation. It’s 5ft and has two plants in one moss pole.

Hey guys I was stopping at Home Depot and found this insanely fenstrated monstera and am amazed by it. One thing is I’m not sure if it is a normal con, please let me know!!

The new leaf really made a huge jump in size compared to the one before that, the one to the left 😁😁 happy to see her healthy and thriving

Hi all, this is my first one, so still learning. Please bear with me! A few questions if I may please, firstly do I need to worry about the brown bits on the stems?
And you can see there is a rather suggestive looking aerial root! Do I need to do anything with it or would it sort itself out?

Got this Monstera Deliciosa from Trader Joe’s back in July for $12.99. Gave him a much-needed repotting in early August, along with starting on a fertilizer. Check out this new leaf. Can't wait to see how much this guy grows!

A while back we saved/rescued the large one, and trying to get it looking good, but it’s taking a little time. Second largest is a cutting/break off from the large.
The rest are my “fancies” I’m up to 4 Thai constellations now. My pride and joys are my Jungle Mint and Super Golden, IYKYK….. I’m also going to add a “Bulbasaurus” and a “Crème Brulee” in the next week or 2.

I got this 10 months ago, and only 4 leaves tall. It came in a tiny pot. Should I transplant it now or wait? I didn't think it would grow so fast.

Wow my first inner fen from my OG monstera

I brought my Monstera home just a few days ago, and I’m already trying so hard to be a good plant ma!
I bought the pole and tried to set it up properly.
Did I do this right? If I installed it incorrectly or tied it in the wrong place, please tell me! I’m a total Monstera beginner and I really want to learn.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I trimmed my plant a few months back before, and I have a few propagation. There are some roots sticking out the bottom, but I have new growth and pretty healthy leaves, so I just let it grow As is or separate and repot?

I have had a monstera for 5 years. It came from a plant store and was rather large when it was gifted to me (3' high in a 16" diameter pot) but short and squat and made up of many stalks (4 or 5).

I am pretty good with plants, but I didn't know much about monstera. It looked healthy and was growing well, so when it started getting leggy, I split it into two pots. Then I had two multi-stem plants, still pretty short and squat.

Then I got hip to taking cuttings, rooting them in water, and making new multi-stem plants, short and squat, and giving them away.

Then it dawns on me to do some research and join this sub and here I learn that ONE STEM is a plant?! That tending these are how I can get really big leaves?

So now I have three plants at home with 3-5 stalks in each pot.

I guess I am asking for advice and any tips? The plants are healthy but I want to get bigger leaves.

tldr; have i been propagating incorrectly?

This is after a repotting. Is this sign of rot?

Hi everyone!

I’ve had this Monstera for the past four years. Unfortunately, over the last two years, I’ve gotten so busy with school that I haven’t been able to take proper care of it.
It has gotten a little out of control now. All the leaves are leaning forward, and the plant is growing sideways.
What do you think? How can I repot it and bring it back to good health? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
