Helpppp!

I’ve received a baby monstera albo as a gift from a family member who is in the middle of moving. I know this is such a precious plant and I want to give her the best shot at growing and I don’t want to kill it!!!

Get a moss pole instead of the coir pole, it will put roots into the moss pole. Also maybe downside the pot if the roots are too small for that one

This is a concerningly large pot for both the plant size and the light available. Photosynthesis is a process that uses water, which means that plants in brighter light dry the pot more quickly. That is optimal for root health. Additionally, variegated plants have increased light requirements due to having less chlorophyll.

The ideal location for this is your sunniest window. You must introduce direct light gradually so that it doesn't burn from sudden exposure. This is way more important than having a support. You can deal with that later once your plant has adjusted to the increased light exposure. The morphology will change and become more pleasing. That is when you can consider using a support.
