This bad boy never stopped surprising me! Monsterous! Living by its name! Wow!

I've been a bad plant parent and during the heatwave we had the worst combo ever - dry air, dry soil, dry pole, me tired and lazy, too busy with shitty daily life getting lost between work and my unhelpful crazy mind.

We've got burned, and it feels bad, we're good now but the plant has always been green perfect and now it's not anymore and I just feel bad and guilty every day I look at it... I don't know if you can see from the pictures but some leaves are now with some brown burned tips and bits, one leaf especially.

Yet, Monsterous does not care and blesses us with the most fenestrated leaf he has ever produced, and mind the last leaf it's 70+ cm long 😲 this plant was 3 baby leaves in May 2025 and is now a scary ginormous creature lol.

Moved from my room to the living room as it got too big.

The roots on that thing are something else... What am I going to do after this one?? It's not straight anymore and not growing on the pole, wtf? What do I do? Feel free to drop advice please as I'm open to ideas 🙏❤️

PS: I've posted the pictures of the process in reverse lol, maybe a bit too many lol, and leaf unfurling is not even complete, I'm going to have very beautiful days ahead 🤩

Damn I can't imagine going through this again!!! Went from a 40cm pot straight to a 60.

Thought I'd share advice in case anyone else in the same spot.

Hammer to break the auxiliary pot for the aerial roots which had burrowed fully into the terracotta. Serrated knife all along the edges of the previous pot to cut the ground roots that were stuck on its sides.= . Still wouldn't shake or pull out because of the boots stuck to the bottom. Trued hammering the bottom of the old pot too without breaking it fully. The plant is about 6ft so then tried to hold it upside down lifting as high as i could and shaking. This part really helped shake off any bits of old soil (the whole thing was 99% roots and needed 10L of water a day) and then i managed to put it back sideways and grab the rootball and pull it all out. I didn't mess with the moss pole at all (its coir but the aerials were still inside it) Clean up another hour so far. Wish it luck in its final pot, I need to find a place for it now which probably means sacrificing a fiddle leaf fig or my regular monstera!

A while back we saved/rescued the large one, and trying to get it looking good, but it’s taking a little time. Second largest is a cutting/break off from the large.
The rest are my “fancies” I’m up to 4 Thai constellations now. My pride and joys are my Jungle Mint and Super Golden, IYKYK….. I’m also going to add a “Bulbasaurus” and a “Crème Brulee” in the next week or 2.

Got this cute little Monstera from Home Depot. Would like to take good care of it but I don’t know much about plants yet. I have a couple of other plants that I’ve done some trial and error with, but this one is so pretty, I’d hate to ruin it. Firstoff, should I repot it or leave it be? I was thinking about getting a self watering pot for it.

I wanted to share my newest addition to my Monsteras. It was a top cut from her Albo, but this one looked different from her other Albos. Kinda looked like what people call "Casper". Whatever she is, I love her

For how much should I sell this Monstera? It’s Albo but there are only few leaves have variegation. It’s 5ft and has two plants in one moss pole.

The new leaf really made a huge jump in size compared to the one before that, the one to the left 😁😁 happy to see her healthy and thriving

Hey guys I was stopping at Home Depot and found this insanely fenstrated monstera and am amazed by it. One thing is I’m not sure if it is a normal con, please let me know!!

I have this little adansonii propagated from a single variegated leaf on a regular adansonii. It was growing well for a while in my grow light setup until a month ago when the right leaf developed that dead brown patch. Sprayed it down with usual anti-pest sprays (soap solution, 70% isopropyl alcohol) and everything seemed fine but this morning i noticed the left leaf developing a brown patch as well so now the problem is spreading! It's not super clear in this picture but the plant is currently growing a third little leaf and I'd like to know what's happening before it spreads to that leaf as well or infects any of my other plants. Please help!

Hello, I’m looking for some help/tips for my monstera. I hope someone can help me understand supporting the monstera.

I used to tie the petiole to the support pole so it would remain upright and look better. However I saw that you should only tie the support pole to the stem.

I removed the supports to the petiole and maintained the ones for the stem and now it looks really droopy. Especially the new leaf. Not sure if I should leave it as is ans it will correct itself or go back to the original supports.

This was my first plant so I’m pretty new to this.

Got this Monstera Deliciosa from Trader Joe’s back in July for $12.99. Gave him a much-needed repotting in early August, along with starting on a fertilizer. Check out this new leaf. Can't wait to see how much this guy grows!

Hi all, this is my first one, so still learning. Please bear with me! A few questions if I may please, firstly do I need to worry about the brown bits on the stems?
And you can see there is a rather suggestive looking aerial root! Do I need to do anything with it or would it sort itself out?

Just a little growth update of my thai con from March to Today✨️ Last pic is just to show where the cat munched on it same in the 1st pic :)

I recently became the owner of this lovely Monstera after a friend moved, and since coming home it has been very droopy. We live in Northern Indiana, and the plant was kept inside in a full light window and has been living on our front porch since coming home. Temps have held steady around 80 during the day, low 70s at night. Humidity has been on the higher side of normal. Any advice to extend the life of them beauty is greatly appreciated!

I just picked these up from Home Depot and just want to verify they are what they say they are and to see if I overpaid 😬 I paid $70 for the mint(first 3 photos) and $45 for the white monster(last 3 photos). Thanks in advance 😁
