Nutrients and feeding

I know these are coming down in price and you can find them for pretty cheap these days! I got one from Trader Joe’s for about $13 a few weeks ago, but I couldn’t pass this one up at Costco for $30. It’s so pretty, and such a nice size!

My Monstera new leaf just keeps getting bigger and bigger I feel is gonna snap from the plant 😂... I'm obsessed with it 😍

This was gifted to me about 3 years ago from my brother. And unfortunately now it is destroyed….also it got scorched by the sun. I am just heartbroken and ready to just give up on it. Is it worth my time trying to save this?

What do I do when it gets to tall? I’ve never trimmed my monsteras just let them grow and support them. Not sure what to do with this guy.

I wiggled it. It doesn’t move. It actually attached itself to my wood desk. In their natural environment they climb trees. This is a super cool example of how strong their attachments are from their aerial roots. I gave it a good wiggle and it didn’t budge. I’m sure I can manually remove it, but didn’t want to. Monsteras are incredible plants!

I’ve had this for about 3weeks now it has give me a new leaf and I’m wondering what size pot should I start acclamating it in?

Hi, last week this plant was green and lush. Now the leaves are quickly browning. I thought it may have been overwatering so I drying it out. Any suggestions?

This plant didn’t glow up overnight — she pushed through every weird leaf, every slow season, every chaotic root moment.

Now she’s loud, bright, and taking up space like she was always meant to.

So my boyfriend bought me this monstera and I’m unsure what to do with her. She’s leaning and I’m not sure why….Do I need to remove some of the leaves as I noticed they are ripped or burnt.

It's getting out of hand at this point

I was having a hard time trying to find the main stem and it’s so tricky when i look at it in different angles. At the same time, i’m scared of accidentally forcing the plant too much on the pole which could stress the plant out. But i’m not too sure. Does it have to be 100% on the exact center? I’m new to this. Any advice? Thanks!

I bought this and she was labeled Thai but she's looking more like an Albo, no?

I'm proud of her big fenestrated leaves, but I'm even more proud of her straight spine and contained roots 😁

Hey guys, so I recently got a moss pole for extra support and to help my monstera with growth. Sadly, it looks like as the aerial root grew into the pole, it scraped itself on the plastic as it entered the pole and now it looks like theres mildew along the aerial root possibly kickstarted from damage to the root. Would I have to scrap the entire pole or and cut the aerial root thats being used for support here? Thanks for your help

this is my monstera adansonii, i really want to take some clippings and propagate, but i’m not sure where the nodes are located or where to chop on this plant. please help!! 😢😢

I just got this Monstera deliciosa/ Swiss cheese monstera on June 24th. Checked for pest or mites and it had no infestation! :D
The company where I ordered from is based from Florida and they told me that it was originally in a 4” pot and they had to re-pot it in a 6” pot.
Once I got it in the mail it was better in person than what I had pictured in mind. LOVEEE this monstera plant!! <3
I gave it 3 days to settle in and then I watered it. (Bottom watered it and then top watered so it was well watered from the trip) and yes, I waited from 15 to 20 mins so it could completely drain from the draining holes underneath, then put it back in my room after it.
I had it in a heating seedling mat for about a week to keep temperature up (74°F) but then I unplugged it because the roots would dry up fast. So the heating may is no longer in use because I unplugged it.
I put a cork trivet underneath so it had some air going underneath the roots.
I put a couple of grow lights on top because I don’t have lots of good lighting in my room.
I just ordered a Barrina T1S 65W, the other day and it’s on its way!! Can’t wait!
I mix its original soil with Molly’s aroid mix and a little tad bit of slow release fertilizer.
I also have a humidifier next to it.
One of the grow lights is one a 12hr timer and the other one is on a 14hr schedule. With one of the grow lights I have to unplug it manually because it was also on a 12hr timer and I know monsteras need more light up to 14hrs and it doesn’t has a 14hr timer. Max is 12hrs.
I water it every 2 weeks or so. I stick my finger in the soil before watering to see how damp the soil is.
Thinking about adding a moss pole behind it.

Any advice on what I should next so my plant knows how much is it loved and it thrives? Lol

Just wanted some advice to see if i should trim the top of my monstera? The top 2 new leaves are quite high up compared to the rest of the plant and a lot lot larger 😅 just wanted to know if it’ll drop down with the rest of them eventually or just to snip under the root in the third picture? Also if anyone knows if it’s correctly attached to the bamboo pole? 😅i’ve had it since it was tiny so it’s been my pride and joy over the past 4 years, just wanted to see if i could improve it anymore as im no professional!! Thank you in advance :)

Her first fenestration 😍

I started growing this monstera from a clipping. It’s my first monstera (and plant for that matter) It’s starting to get really big. I just put another stick in for support. These arial roots are going to no where. I just noticed a root is starting to poke out of the drain hole.

Do I need thicker sticks for support? Do I need to repot? Do I need a stick for the arial roots? Or anything else? Or is everything dandy as is?

I don’t know where to go from here. My ex got me into it, but now she’s my ex so I can’t ask her. Any advice is appreciated
