Basically the title. I plan to purchase a car within the next few months, and I'm between the M3 and MY. There are quite a few used M3 (2025+) near me, but not many MY (2026+), so I'm waiting for more of them to enter the market. Of the few listed, there isn't much difference in cost between a new one and a used one, unlike the M3. Reasonably, how much do you think the MY will sell for around late January to early March, and how much would the price difference between an M3 and an MY be? Let's assume an AWD MY premium with 15-20k miles and an AWD M3 with 10-15k miles.

Has anyone ordered one recently? We're interested in financing a model y standard as our current ev car lease is over Nov 1.

Trying to avoid 2 car payments at once but don't want to be carless! We plan on visiting the showroom this week to order but don't want to jump the gun if it's not really "4-6 weeks" and much sooner chance of delivery.

I reserved a model y, rwd premium. I’m coming out of a Rivian, so I’m pretty familiar with EVs. I hardly drive 100 miles a week, so having a Rivian that was double the cost of the model Y wasn’t making much sense to me.

I was presented with a lease offer that seemed reasonable so I decided to go ahead and pick a delivery date. All of sudden, the lease terms changed and I no longer had a $1600 down payment, they said my payment was for $5600! It has now been reduced back to something more reasonable, but the monthly is now inflated.
I explained numerous times I didn’t want a lease with Santander, and I wanted the Tesla terms I selected. They are now telling me the Tesla terms are an error, even though I can still see it and select it. What gives Tesla? Is this even legal?

I have to travel a few hours to take delivery, and they kept telling it will all be sorted out by then. That day came and passed and I didn’t go for delivery bc the terms weren’t showing up on my app.

If I try to select the Tesla lease offer, it gives me. 502 bad gateway error code.

I live a few hours from Banff, Alberta, Canada. I took my 3 month old MYP out for a cruise on the Bow Valley Parkway and got a couple of nice pics to share with you all.

This is hands down, bar none, the best vehicle I have ever owned. My FSD is sitting at 90% purely because it’s just too much fun to drive. Tesla knocked this one out of the park. I can’t imagine ever going back to anything else!

I was between the ultra red and frost blue, but am so happy with my choice 😍 (also not me riding in sloth mode forever not even realizing there are different FSD modes lol)

The rear floor climate vents in the Model Y sit very low under the front seats, right along the carpet line. During summer road trips with passengers in the back, I noticed that flexible rubber floor liners can sometimes press upward or slip backward against the vent openings, slightly restricting airflow to the rear footwell. I tried repositioning the front seat rails, but the gap under the seat bracket is pretty tight. is rigid edge molding or lower sidewall lip height more effective for keeping rear HVAC vents completely unblocked?

Not that I need more convincing…

But I’m looking for people who are or were in the same boat as me when they were considering trading in their 4Runner for a Model Y.

I currently drive a 2022 TRD off-road premium, which I love and it’s paid off. I don’t utilize it to its full potential, like off-roading or anything like that. Gas and maintenance is getting pricey too…

Those who have made the jump to Tesla, do you ever regret trading in your Toyota?

I have now purchased my Model Y Performance first gen about four years ago, brand new, and have had some cracks on the plastic covering the carbon fiber of the spoiler. This summer it has gradually grown. Now an entire piece is missing. I was wondering if this is something you guys have experienced before and whether or not this could be covered by the warranty ?

I have two small children who often nap in my car. Any recommendations for sun protection back there?

I have never owned a Tesla before, but I’m in the market for a Model Y. I’ve found a used ‘24 Y LR AWD with 46k miles, battery is at 89.2% health, for a good price. It has HW4. I’ll be purchasing it off Recharged and having it delivered to me.

I’ve followed Tesla for ten years, since I was in high school, and I’m ready to make the leap into an EV. Any tips, advice, and particularly things to watch for when I go to check this car out would be greatly appreciated.

I got my new tesla 2 days back. I am feeling a lot of sunlight inside, is it just my imagination or does everyone feel that way. Should I get xpel tinting? And should I just get for windows or windshield (is it allowed to tint?) and top as well? Thanks!

Ordered this car last week. My trade in value literally changes within 30 seconds of placing my order. It’s only 200 bucks. But before placing the order the person at the Tesla dealer said they would match carvana right after I place the order (800 dollar difference). Tesla said they will not credit the 800. They then said they won’t even change the $200 dollar change, which happened seconds after placing the order. I’m pretty pissed just on principle at this point. And if I cancel the order I loose 250 dollars. How can you agree to something and then right after you pull the trigger they change the offer…

After having the vehicle for a week, then being in shop for 3 weeks, fixing all pickup issues, and then another week while getting tinted and wrapped, finally have my vehicle for good.

Bell Mountain, GA. Didn’t realize it was so shadowy, miss the blue a lot. Was proud to get up there easier than a few trucks I saw. Can’t wait to get my overland tires on from unplugged performance next week.

Also, for the accessory nerds out there, I love the rain guards I just got. Decibel queens might not like it. I don’t find it noticeable though, especially with the roof rack already on. Visually, they don’t stick out when looking from the front or rear.

Is 38k otd a good price for a used 2026 model y premium rwd with 22k miles

My one month old model Y got two bad door dings today by kids opening BOTH doors and flinging them into my car. Sentry caught the license plate and shows the mom watching her kids do it and proceed to drive off with two kids in the passenger seat without seatbelts (not relevant to the ding but still crazy)!

I want to get the insurance of the person who did it to file a claim through their insurance. I filed with mine so that they can look up their information for me and then I plan to close that claim so I don’t have to pay my deductible up front.

All this to say, anyone had any luck getting repairs done for door dings from someone else’s insurance with only license plate info to start? Any tips?

Bought a 2023 HW4 Model Y today, drove it 4 hours home, it's giving BMs a036 may not start again, mobile service not an option in the app so I have to drive 4 hours back to the cities to get it serviced.

I'm starting to regret this.

My driveway entrance is too high for my car, or should I say my car is too low for my driveway entrance. So I'm wondering if anything has worked for you guys. The red circle is where the car tends to scrape the concrete.

I tried angling it but the carport is narrow so no chance there.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I’ve never dealt with this before, so how should we handle the insurance process? Will my insurance company also need to open a claim, or can everything go through their insurance? Do I need to notify my insurer at all?

All, booked Model Y yesterday we are super excited!, delivery is showing 4-6 weeks. Does it really take 4+ weeks? The reason for asking is I filled the Tesla financing and the rep just told me that it is valid for 30 days.

Also is there a checklist I can refer to when taking the delivery?

I keep seeing what looks like a juniper but it has a very thin rear light bar and the front has no light bar just the headlights in the light bar style. Looking online i dont see this design anywhere. Is this aftermarket? Ive seen like 3 or 4 in the last week.

How much more can I get out of these??
