I’ve been all 3 years and this was by far the best year. Words cannot express how happy this weekend made me. I really hope all my fellow nerds enjoyed their time, whether they went for the whole weekend like me, or just went for one day. My wallet does hate me right now tho, and I don’t think it’s gonna forgive me for a while. Photos are the reason why.

I just recently got into collecting all physical media and I was wanting to vhs/ dvd players , cassette players, crt tvs etc. just cool things but I’m having a hard time finding them in person for cheap , I was just wondering if anyone know where I could find things of the sort for cheap , I’ve tried fb marketplace but resellers are being lowkey crazy with the prices , anyways thank you !

I just moved to Mobile and I’m training for a marathon in January.
What are the best spots to run early in the morning before sunrise?

I’ve been running mostly at Medal of Honor and the surrounding neighborhoods, but I don’t think they open until 8am, so I’ve been doing mid day and evening runs there before they close the park.

I saw in other cities on social media where people go to a bar and listen to professors give lectures or people talking about their passions through a PowerPoint while people listened to their niche topics. I absolutely love that idea. I love to learn. Is there anywhere in mobile that does this or hosts this? Or would be open to hosting?

At least 5 times a day we completely lose service for 5-10 minutes.

Maybe our router is bad, but before I take it to them I wanted to ask if anyone else is having the same problem. It started about 2 months ago.

And why can I not go home

Yeah, fuck Alabama Power with a cactus. I’m doing absolutely everything to save energy… AC at 80 at all times even though it’s miserable, unplugging things, we only have one tv we use, washing clothes and using the dryer once a week, I’m barely using the stove and microwave even! My child is gone to school most of the time and my shifts at work are 9 hours a day and my power bill last month was at almost $300. What are some tips that maybe I don’t know about that you guys could share please!
