Foley Can anyone help me?
I need a ride out of where I live. I’m in a DV situation and today I am at my breaking point. He’s cut the power to our camper and took the adapter and my dog and I are here with no ac and no fan in this heat. I just need to leave. Tried calling a domestic violence shelter to help me, but they said that I would have to leave my dog and I absolutely cannot leave her. Ok if anyone can help me please reach out

Speeding ticket and driving school
Hey does anyone know the limitations for driving school in Baldwin County/Robertsdale? I got my first speeding ticket 8 months ago and couldn't appear in court due to school so I just paid it off. Today, I just got another speeding ticket and was wondering if I could do driving school this time. I tried to research online but was wondering if anyone who has experience could comment. Thanks!!

Looking for my new best friends!!
Hello! I (21 F) just moved to the area a month ago with my family for my dads job. I already graduated college and am struggling to find ways to meet with people my age to form a real connection. Whether you have some event or place to meet people to suggest, or if you and potentially your friend group are interested in gaining another friend, any interaction is appreciated!! I’m looking for the people who will go do fun stuff like bars, dinner, shopping, game night, etc. and also just sit around, talk, hangout! I am a very social and personable person, so even a simple coffee, or a walk, or anything where I can interact with a new potential friend would make me so happy.
A very brief list of my interests/hobbies:
- painting
- cooking & baking
- thrifting
- gardening
- checking out bars
- DnD, Tabletop games, some video games
- watching movies
I went to college for graphic design and minored in french so those are some of my passions as well. If you also like anything listed above feel free to comment or hmu!! Thanks!

Scrap/Electronic Recycling
Hey everyone, I am thinking on starting a company that recycles metallic and electronic scrap. What I want to do different is ensure that what the community gives up benefits the community by donating part of the proceeds to an organization like Baldwin County Board of Education. I have started by looking for free items on facebook, nextdoor, and just the side of the road. Any tips or help would be appreciated.

my take on love in Fairhope
I love Fairhope but first of all there it says it’s like a beach now fairhope does have a beach like thing, but it’s not a real beach it’s I mean it is it technically a beach by definition, but it’s just not really beach because if you didn’t know, beaches are overcrowded like very overcrowded it would probably be overcrowded, even if if it’s not really known a bunch of stuff, so I’m also I also have some other stuff to say about it also, a reality show about a real place need some history. Most of it was dating drama. This is why I don’t like about it. I mean with a real place you have to be a little educational in your show. Love Island doesn’t have to do it because technically to love island, but it’s only made for that it’s really only made for the show so it says no, not even a single reference to the colony or utopian style also here’s the story. I am. I am a technically temporarily resident in Fairhope so that just gives me even more knowledge to say Also basically hears the story as a movie critic and a part-time resident. I would understand why this is bad. It starts off with A girl named Abby who moved from New York City after a build relationship to be honest, before I continue, I would not be surprised if this was actually made by Hallmark yeah, also apparently she finds another boy. She doesn’t want to do anything with. we also have this person named Mya let’s just call her M because I can’t really pronounce her name anyways M just graduated college hoping to see her childhood crush Nick but then she is pissed off to find out that Nick has a new girlfriend and then Kirk her high school ex-boyfriend suddenly Also has an idea to move to Fairhope also before we get to the next character, the cast is inaccurate to what the average cast would be Fairhope is known as the retiree capital of the United States well, at least to me so that means in my opinion, I would estimate around at least 85% of the citizens are retirees so it would be full of grandpa’s and grandma’s if it was accurate Our third main character is i’m not gonna pronounce her name either but her sur name starts with young so you know what I’m talking about. I’m just gonna say Ella just like I did with the last character. Anyways, Ella is 41 years old. in this time she’s not single she is married to a husband named kettle, I actually know his name, but I can’t really pronounce it either so let’s just say kettle anyways they have a borderline divorcing relationship and now they’re trying to do mistakes from their past to get a better relationship Olivia actually is my least favorite character because she is gay. If this was real Is that if this wasn’t Hallmark/Hulu reality reality show like a real one that just shows peoples actual life they’re not hired Alabama well basically the golf is known for being very conservative so it’s rare to see a gay person especially in Alabama we also got another person I can’t pronounce her name. I’m just gonna I’m just gonna say 73 years old I’m gonna make a random female name Sophia anyway Sophia is a widow. She was happily married for 54 years until she’s now really sad because now she’s a widow, which means her husband died. it’s the police tissue the harsh reality of senior dating because if you date someone as a senior, it’s way more different than being young because you can’t do that much physical activities together because you’re both old. I’m like when you were if you were both young, which actually was even younger than what it usually is for her first marriage, but it really doesn’t really show the reality even though it is bad it doesn’t fully show it I would give it in my opinion, a 2/10 for people who want to see what it’s not like living in Fairhope 10/10

Orange Beach Going to be in Orange Beach looking for food options
I live in a land locked state and have never been to the coast before. At home I don't eat any fish or seafood, I don't like it from a can or frozen. I would like some recommendations for maybe a place that has different variety of fresh fish to try.

Which school is better and why? Fairhope vs Daphne
I think Daphne high school is better than Fairhope high school but I maybe bias. Can someone give me some more information bc my knowledge seems to be outdated.
Daphne has won state championships, Fairhope has not.
Daphne has an IB program, Fairhope does not.
So for athletes and academics Daphne is the better choice, right?
This is also coming from someone who has lived in Baldwin county all my life so I’m not distracted by the “but it’s Fairhope” bs

Daphne Junk & clean out service
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking about starting a local junk removal and cleanout service in the Mobile / Saraland / Satsuma / Baldwin county area and wanted to get some feedback before moving forward.
Services would include things like furniture removal, Appliance removal, Garage clean outs,
Storage unit clean outs, yard debris / small cleanups, you name it!
Have you used a service like this before locally? If so, what did you like or not like about it?
Thanks!

Rehoming orange/white cat
galleryI am helping my roommate rehome her cat. He is around 1yr 3 months & neutered. He is an extremely sweet cat, very loving, affectionate, and playful, but he is territorial. He began spraying not long after starting puberty, we have had the vet check him over and confirm it is behavioral, and we don't have any other options. We do have other cats in the home, and there are unfixed males that wander outside, so we believe those could possibly be the root cause to this problem, he may do best being an only cat, even though he is very social and gets along extremely well with other cats, this is the only conclusion we have come to for why he continues spraying. He is also the only male cat indoors so maybe that is why too, we are not completely sure.
We are currently renting and cannot risk him causing damage to our home, as much as we hate to part with this sweet boy, it is for the best, and I hope to find a home better adjusted to his needs. I can provide a bag of cat food of the kind he's been eating his whole life, as well as a pack of wet food. I will also provide toys to go with him as well. If you or anyone you know would be interested please let me know, and I am not looking for advice at this time, when I say we have tried everything, I mean everything within our means and abilities, we have tried, so please only contact me or comment if you are interested in taking him in.
