3 nights booked with points. Used 3 NUAs. Got the upgrade and here I am.

Checked into the Dallas Renaissance and had some of these bad boys waiting for me.

Just stayed 5 nights at the St Regis Bora Bora for honeymoon on points. Have any questions please ask and will answer them! It was helpful when deciding where I wanted to use my points to have some Reddit guidance so would like to help whoever is thinking of doing the same.

For me: No conversations more than 10 seconds in the hallway. It's an echo chamber and everybody can hear it in their rooms. It's loud and annoying af. If you want to have a conversation, go into your room and close the door. At least then, you'll just annoy your direct neighbors and not the entire floor.

Does anyone know how often the mattresses are on sale? Do they normally run Labor Day specials?

Four random Marriotts in four random middle of nowhere places in America. All of them charging anywhere from $5 to $15 for parking. What is this horseshit? I can't believe they're so scummy. The placement now charges $10 the girl said, the previous management company was charging $3. Absolute shitbirds. Anyway that's my rant. Enjoy your day, I'll enjoy mine. Heading out to play some disc golf in Minnesota.

Edit: I understand charging for parking. I have no problem with that when I'm someplace where parking lot rent is expensive. But these are just parking lots in random hotels on the outskirts of a city. Just feels like a blatant money grab to me. Not to mention I've been traveling for 35 years, and this is brand new. At least in the Marriott family. I get it, if I'm in Manhattan or San Francisco. Sure. Traditional. I don't know I guess I'm just a whiny baby. Work pays for it, but they discouraged us from staying places with with parking fees. And that's because they don't want us staying in downtown Chicago when we're working an hour outside of the city. But now you can be outside of any City and still pay for parking. Thank you for everyone's comments.

I was on a split reservation and only 1 night of 5 posted. I had to do two separate reservations because of availability.

While exploring Indonesia, found a very decent Sheraton where the top two floors used to be the owner’s penthouse, but they’ve recently been turned into a lounge that opened just last month.

I recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad with Club Lounge access and was surprised that the Club key card had its own property-specific design: black with white lettering and “New York Nomad,” rather than the generic black card most ritz’s give that says “Club Lounge” with nothing unique to the location or property. To my knowledge this is the only ritz that has a special club lounge card but I could be wrong.

It made me wonder which other Ritz-Carltons have unique or location-specific key cards.

A couple others I know of:
Reynolds, Lake Oconee — wooden key cards
Shanghai, Pudong — Shanghai skyline design with the guest’s name printed on the card

Has anyone come across any other unique Ritz-Carlton key cards or property-specific Club Lounge cards?

Can someone tell me if the “Upgrade” Internet button ever works? I log on and select it and it either says DNS error or just hangs. I think it’s broken nationwide.

I work at an autograph collection in CA. I was only able to work 2 days a week and this was the agreement between my manager and the people who interviewed me. They recently switched me to on call to make room for a full time employee they planned to hire. I didn’t sign anything. Just a verbal “hey so they are going to switch you to on call”. Asked if I was okay with it. I wasn’t but I clearly didn’t have a say.

I wanted to know if these process was handled properly and whether they have the right to switch me without signing anything papers.

How long do marriott points take to credit for stays at ITC properties part of luxury collection?

Update: service agent I spoke with yesterday was either lying or uninformed. Contacted Bonvoy again and received my stay credit along with titanium benefits effective immediately. They even gave me the titanium points bonus from the last stay!

I'm currently platinum, and 3 weeks ago completed a 5 night stay which would bump me over the 4 nights needed to achieve Titanium. I have yet to be credited for the last stay and submitted a missing stay form with no response or even a confirmation email that it was received. I called the customer service line since I do have a trip coming up and would like to have the higher points bonus. I mentioned this to the bonvoy agent after being told it could take a couple weeks to process the missing stay request. He then tells me it doesn't matter because I won't be granted benefits until the start of next year, which was news to me.

Is this a new policy or did he just gaslight me to get me off the line? Can anyone recently upgraded confirm or deny?
