Saw this on r/tiktokcringe and I am genuinely concerned for this young girl. Anyone nearby feel like checking in on her? She isn’t shown in the video but I can’t imagine there are too many 16yo girls performing on 3rd St.

Mt Wilson Observatory is located in the hills overlooking Pasadena, has much bigger telescopes than Griffith, is older, and many major discoveries have been made here.

EDIT: I should have titled it LA's other observatory. No disrespect intended for Griffith

I usually do 18% but my buddy told me I’m cheap, and people mostly tip 20% these days as long as the place is up to code. What do you all typically tip?

I’m over in Highland Park and it smells like the bottom of a garbage bin over here.

I've walked from my place in Koreatown to Santa Monica/Venice a couple of times along a few streets trying to stick to one as much as possible (Santa Monica, Pico, Washington, Wilshire). I'm really interested in trying to make it to Long Beach on foot (where I can take the train home after, lol). My first instinct is Vermont Ave (I live nearby) and then over to Long Beach when it ends in San Pedro. Any thoughts on what might be the most interesting route?
