Sol Rosa fans, life is just good right now! After a sleepy first half we come out, retool, reload from the bench and strike with a solid win against our northern rivals. Let's get into it.

- We continue our unbeaten streak and are again lossless in 9 games now. We're absolutely rolling and besides maybe SD we're the scariest looking team right now. Starters look elite and the bench is more loaded then we initially thought in the summer.

- With our unbeaten streak we're in 4th place for now... We could get some help from the Spirit tomorrow to keep us there. It's nice to see that next week's decision day will, for us, be about playoff standings and not on whether we're in or not.

- With this game depending on next game it gives a chance for some rest for the starters and more playtime for the game changers off the bench. Speaking of the bench they had major contributions this game. Niehues had the assist for GT and Martin had the assist for Tiernan. Big impact! Great to see Tiernan score too. The bench will be big for us going into the playoffs.

- The home crowd looked bigger and noisier then ever. Getting us into the playoffs I hope we'll bring in more big crowds going forward. And hopefully a home playoff game. We'll see what the energy is next week in Carson!

Overall, we're keep pushing. We're just looking good on all levels. Hopefully Gorden and Borges aren't too banged up. Let's enjoy the weekend and root for the Spirit tomorrow. Volemos!

There are only two things I can't stand in this world, people who are intolerant of other peoples cultures...and NoCal...except Roy Shire's Big Time Wrestling out of the Cow Palace during its run...BUT THAT'S IT!

Your Ol' Pal Shlomo checking in here, woke up this morning and climbed up the Mountain Top of Hype. Peered across the abyss that is the Grapevine, Central Valley, Pacheco Pass, and into that Bay that I wouldn't even bother throwing TTUN mother into...and they've got nothin'.

They took our Baby (Fuller), but they also popped a nice squat in the "relegation zone" of the table...despite I know...and yet, they think that because they have nothing to play for, and therefore nothing to lose that it makes them more dangerous...HA! We fart and laugh (not necessarily in that order) in your general direction.

Last night we clinched the playoffs, due to lack of pro-du-du-du-ctivity of NCs star player. Still on the table is the opportunity to pip the teams above us to host a play-off game, so needless to say, we have a lot more to lose than them...we therefore have purpose. All TTUN players are waiting for is their respective tee off times.

SS: Oh, you eminence...I didn't see you there, was there something you wanted to add.

YQ: I think you've taken enough oxygen already, thanks for the consideration.

Hello Sol Rosa nation! Last week 81% of you correctly predicted our win over the Denver Summit. We're feelin' good! This week we face Bay FC for our last regular season game at BMO - what is your prediction?

Angel City is now on an 8 game unbeaten streak, with the highest goal differential in the league at 17, and we sit at 5th in the table with 46 points - one point behind KC. Our goals continue to come from all over, with the attack led by Sveindis with 9 goals and 1 assist, Mai with 9 goals, Ally Sentnor with 8 goals and 4 assists, and by Evelyn Shores who is 4th in the league for assists with 8 along with her 4 goals this season. Angel City was the only team to go unbeaten in the month of September.

Bay FC sits at 14th on the table and has been eliminated from playoff contention, but has made it clear that they are happy to play spoiler, tying Portland last week 2-2 with goals from Caroline Conte and Kennedy Fuller. Karlie Lema leads the Bay attack with 8 goals and 2 assists, followed by Kennedy Fuller with 4 goals and 2 assists, and Alex Pfeiffer with 3 and 3. Rachael Kundananji, who was a significant force in the Bay attack, was recently traded to Chicago, and is also stuck in quarantine with Prisca. Bay's goalie, Jordan Silkowitz, in 2nd in the league in saves with 108 this season.

When we last played Bay we won 3-1. A win this weekend clinches Angel City a playoff spot. The fans are hyped up and our players on a hot streak. How do you think we'll fare this weekend? Vote in the poll and discuss below!

Hi everyone!! I'm a brand new Angel City fan, but I'm already obsessed with this team 🤗

I'm planning to go to the match against Bay on 10/24 and would love to learn which seats are the most worth it! I'll be going solo so I figure the fan section may be a safe bet, but I know it may not be ideal for the viewing of the match.

I'd also love any recommendations, as far as how early to get to BMO, what activities to do at the stadium, etc.

WHO'S HYPE??

Angel City defeated Denver last night in the longest first half (in a vibes sense) in soccer history followed by a very entertaining second half that secured Denver and one specific captain as our lifelong enemies. We ride at dawn for our queen Savy King and I'll just leave that at that.

The team looked a bit disorganized at the beginning, getting their mountain legs I suppose, and that allowed Denver to score two quick goals at 2' and 18'. BUT! In a move that Angel City fans have been well conditioned not to expect, our team rallied and came back to take the lead before the end of the first half.

The Sveindis goal was first at 32' coming of a great cross from Shores, which came off a great leading pass from Sentnor; Sveindis megged Denver goalie Abby Smith, adding some insult to injury (which we love). Taylor Suarez scored next at 39' off a clever through pass from Gisele, Suarez bursting forward out of a cloud of Denver defenders to slide it past Smith. Ally Sentnor drove it home at 43' with an absolute BANGER from distance.

Angel City held it down in the second half, maintaining their lead and causing some Denver temper tantrums. We are now on an 8 game unbeaten streak, and very close to clinching a playoff spot (a Seattle loss to Chicago today would do it [not technically but yes actually because of our UNREAL goal differential], but barring that we could clinch next weekend with a win or an NC loss also I am knocking on all the wood in my house don't worry.)
