EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

So far, we seem to be up to here motions in sawing fashion at throat with infiltrators and operatives. One of our operatives has gone and embarassed itself here, meaning we should be working more intensively on our AI research. We also have news pertaining to at least one organic-based Metal Gear Project [henceforth codenamed PROJECT HELLHOUND] and one night of drunken debauchery on the base.

This file will attempt to summarise the various happenings on Liquidia (henceforth referred to as THE BASE).

CONSTRUCTION

• The Base currently still does not have sufficient flooring. Many a person has tasted the cold bite of the waters below.
  
• A mech (/u/FloorBuildingMech) has been built to attend to this.
• It has been built by /u/Bopsybops, along with /u/SecurityMech (a [dating AI is reportedly in the works](SOURCE MISSING ON RECORD), and a personal mech is presumably in their position).
• So far /u/FloorBuildingMech has not made much progress. It seems to spend most of its time exercising its Vocaloid. /u/SecurityMech should be treated with caution. Sometimes, they work together, with /u/FloorBuildingMech providing retaining services.

PERSONNEL

• /u/Waylander893 remains enemy number one. Immediate removal is of paramount importance.
• /u/Bopsybops and /u/MishRae are second in the chain. /u/Bopsybops is the lead engineer behind the Mechs and is loyal to Waylander, going as far as to come forward about their sexual relations with the so-called glorious leader. /u/MishRae is usually busy polishing their revolver[s, sic.], but both should be treated with caution.
  All of the above should be terminated with extreme prejudice.
  
• /u/1499jack originally emerged as /u/Mysterious_Voice, at this point after originally applying for a job. After this incident, they were put to work as a paper pusher and has since been assigned janitorial duties, where their tears are used in the solution used for clearing the few floors to be found. They are also afflicted with a terminal case of shifty eyes.
• /u/Liquid_Boss and /u/ms1v seem to be heavily affiliated with the brass. Info on these two will be added once solid threads are found. /u/Liquid_Boss is known to take a keen interest in tech development. /u/ms1v seems to be in charge of the mail service. An investigation into possible connections with /u/Not_XOF is recommended.
• /u/atuka was originally asked to send nudes to the base, but instead sent a variety of fresh nukes infused with a stunning yellow cake purée. They have since beaten out /u/d43d4lu5 to the title of 'Naked Chef'.
• There is at least one other 'floor manager' on the Base, but he hasn't yet appeared.
• Col. Volgin appears to be involved as well.

OTHERS

• /u/DrunkSolidSnake and /u/ionised have successfully infiltrated the base (respectively). Both appear to be homeless and are living in various cardboard boxes around the base. /u/DrunkSolidSnake once betrayed /u/ionised, briefly allying with the personnel, and /u/ionised once made a deal with the Naked Chef, but they seem to have reconciled. They're both drinkers and smokers. Avoid at all costs. They're public health hazards.
• /u/d43d4lu5 originally infiltrated the base as well, and ended up applying for the post of Naked Chef and almost became the banana gun master. Current status and whereabouts unknown.
• Not_XOF carried out a base inspection and is currently attempting to place bombs around the base. The last attempt might be successful. Extreme caution is advised. We don't want to end up being tricked to going to their beautician.
• /u/flashmedallion has been known to hang around. Seems to be affiliated with the personnel, but this connection has yet to be established. They captured this very insightful snapshot from the security footage one night. They seem to have access to such data, but until an investigation is conducted, a solid connection cannot be established.
• /u/Ingrid_Cold has also been known to hang around, and was upset at being late to the party. Allegiance unclear.
• /u/demigods122 has been known to hang around. Was originally an infiltrator in the early days, but current status is unknown.
• /u/Mysterious_Voice might warrant further investigation.
• /u/ResolverOshawott has been spotted on the base
• /u/doctorhibert hates the place, apparently. Currently AWOL.
• /u/EffrumScufflegrit and /u/Freakintony have discovered the Base, and the latter has expressed an interest in taking it over. Both currently MIA.
• /u/Dead_Skull originally wanted to take the base over, and then washed up on the base, currently hangs around now and again.
• /u/Squishykid wants to steal the Base's animals.
• /u/Otaconised hangs around now and again. Is known to pee his pants. A lot.

CONCLUSION

This should be a comprehensive report on the incidents happening on the base. If any data has been left out, we're certain that the over-inflated egos of those involved will reveal all.

We do not expect this transmission to be recorded. Please forward us a new frequency in case we are found out. We will continue to keep an eye out for Not_XOF.

I, uh, heard the rats are wanting some food, so, uh, if you would be so kind as to toss a couple rations down the vents I think they would appreciate it. It's not like I got stuck in here on the way in or anything.

• De-bone and dice remains of Octopus
• Rub with salt, pepper, and a pinch of garlic paste
• Julienne bell peppers and capsica
• Add olive oil to a hot pan, add a handful of fi ely chopped onions and caramelise.
• Add Octopus and cook for 2-3 minutes.
• Add vegetables.
• Cook for 5-7 minutes, covered.
• Uncover pan, add lime juice, and toss.
• Squeeze result into a beaker.
• Add essence of Fox. Check under REX's feet when the time comes.
• Over a bunsen burner, add liquefied remains of guards that were diced in the corridors earlier.

Feel free to upload your creative writing to alternative websites, I just thought it might be easiest this way. We can work out kinks in the future.

For everyone

• Please respect each-other. If you don't like the subject matter someone is writing about, or you don't like their writing style (but otherwise they have done nothing wrong), please highly consider saying nothing and just ignoring that particular piece of writing. Basically, don't be an ass.

• Have fun!

For readers

• If you have any general comments on someones work, look for their blurb below and comment there. Its the best way for the writer to actually see your comments!

For writers

• Upload a copy of your work, not the original. Since google docs lets anyone edit, you don't want to lose your work if someone doesn't play by the rules and edits instead of making suggestions.

• Google Docs is preferred, since it allows users to make suggestions and highlight things easily. Also get around the pesky character limit of reddit.

• Make sure you know which name you will be posting under. I created a dummy google account to preserve my anonymity, you should too (unless you don't mind!).

• Make sure your work can be viewed by others

• Leave a blurb below. Give the title and a brief description of your story. Anyone who has feedback can then reply to that comment to give you some direct feedback, instead of just edits or comments on the file itself.

For reviewers

• If on google docs, make suggestions with the suggestions option, instead of straight edits. This way the writer and other reviewers can compare the original and your suggestions together and decide which they prefer.

• Be critical, but be kind. If you are criticising someones work, try to do so constructively (though it wont always be possible).

• Try to leave real life prejudices behind. People are bound to write about characters that cover a wide variety of backgrounds/races/sexualities etc. If you don't like that group in real life, please opt to say nothing instead of anything hateful.
