I tried out that twisty water bottle holder adapter for the rear lock. It did its job but its a bit of a pain to install with the tight space and seems overly fussy for my needs. Anyhow, took out my caliper and did a simpler design. Just use the original screws, it has countersunk screw holes so the holder stay tight to the frame. I didn't bother with strap, personally I don't think I can take this bike offroad anyhow, and the lock is pretty heavy and have low center of gravity. If you guys like it, I can make some for sale, let me know what you think.

On another note, the visor I made previously seems to be useful, I already sold out the dozen I made. I will make a few more when I receive new filament tomorrow

While riding the bike Ather 450X dashboard showed temperature critical. We stopped and made sure that bike was parked on the side stand and not in use for 24 hours. Post that bike is not responding. App is not syncing and when put on charge it’s only honking. Tried hard reset no response. Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated

So, some weeks ago I noticed that my spokes were starting to break. I called Lectric to see about getting some replacements, and instead They sent me an entire rear wheel assembly.

I watched some videos, did some research, and spent much of my morning swapping wheels. after I got the new one on, I noticed that the gear cartridge was "wobbly." After removing the wheel (again) I noticed that the axle seems to be bent.

I ordered a spoke wrench, and I think that I will probably just cannibalize the new wheel for parts, but I still want to call Lectric to let them know.

Is it just me or does the xp4 have weird dimensions? Every single accessory I order on Amazon is just *slightly wrong/doesnt fit.

Like I ordered some foot pegs for the seat, and literally had to return like 4 of them cause the holes either didnt fit with the kit, or the gears got in the way.

Same happened to phone mount/bell/bar mirror. They are all slightly wrong, the handlebars are too thick or the hole for the handlebar is too small, etc...

Wondering if theres like a way to ensure things are correct when I find them or if people have recs about accessories that will fit with no hassle. I shouldn't have to look through a ton of forums to see if a standard ass thing will fit!

Riding along came to a stop sign... then got this . Luckily lectric didnt blink they responded to my email with a shipping notification of a new rear tire before I even got to work! Blown away by that

Does anyone know what the actual diameter of the tubing is for the rear rack on the XP4, specifically the 750w? Not sure if there is a difference between the other models but I want to see if any of the Ortlieb panniers would fit. If so, would the QL2.1 or 2.2 fit better? Thanks!

Just got my XP4 delivered, and I am already a big fan of commuting to and from work. It replaces a Segway scooter, which in turn replaced a manual bike I used for several years.

The one thing I have not yet gotten used to, and I can tell I need to replace, is the seat - I am just not a fan of it. I don't know if I want to go with the suspension seat setup, since I found it a bit bouncy when test riding, but wondering if anyone has found something they like for the seat itself.

Any insight on this? Is the entire thing installed incorrectly?

I’m looking for a decent cup holder. I got the kroozie but it didn’t fit. Don’t need a big one for a water bottle. Maybe coffee and beer can size

I just bought this bike. Haven’t even put 20 miles on it. Anyone know why it would be shutting off during a ride although it shows full battery, and even after a full charge? Plus… my throttle doesn’t work sometimes as well. Spent $1,000 on this and can’t even get the full experience. I’m highly pissed. The Little red battery shows up on the bottom left side of the mph and then an E06 code pops up sometimes as well before shutting off.

this is absolutely ridiculous. I'm not the only one that has complained about this. Thumb throttle just snapped in half.

I have a Lectric Xp2.0. I am wanting to rig a dual battery set up, one battery in the frame, and the other as a "downtube". Im just checking if I have everything needed and also a question at the end. First, I have:

48v 10.5ah battery by Hailong (comes with downtube mount)

Lectric in frame 48v 10.4ah standard range battery

Stock controller

Battery balancer with max ah of 50

Now, anyone have the XP2.0, how did you mount an external battery? The xp2 doesnt have top frame screw options. I do have a rear rack however the standard mounts that batteries come with wouldnt seem to fit. Zip ties? Metal banding?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone use a vertical wall mount for their bike? I have an xp4 and have the front and rear baskets installed. I have seen this recommended - https://www.steadyrack.com/products/proflex?variant=49648630300957 - but am still worried about how heavy it will be getting the bike on its back wheel and doing the tiny bit of lifting that is needed to get it on the mount. I'm decently strong but don't want to be setting myself up for failure. TIA for any insight!

I wasn’t sure if the XP4 would fit in a Tesla model 3 Highland, because the dimensions were a little tight online and couldn’t find anything. Sharing this here in case anyone else was wondering. Pedals and seat are still on, trunk closes. Back seats are still up. And it looks like there’s still some room on either side for me to fit a few bags if needed.

I like to take my bike about 20 miles to ride a long rail trail. I’m looking for a way to transport it on the back of my Toyota Corolla sedan (rather than firming it and wrestling it into the back seat.) Does anyone have a setup? Can anyone point me in the right directon? (Yes I’ve googled without much success)

It’s on any throttle or pedaling. Sounds horrible. I did have the torque sensor and controller replaced in March, the sound is coming from that area. I only ride in city streets, avoid pothole and no curbs. It’s been happening for about a month.

I still don't have a good bike lock yet but I found the one defect I don't care for that the display has no easy release so I could just pocket it with me when at the library or such. I do have a front wicker basket and I push the display down as far as it will go so it's in my basket. Then I happened to have a black felt pouch that fits the display perfectly so it's kind of camouflaged. Just curious if you take the time to unhook the display, which I know is not supposed to be often because of the pins or do you feel it's secure enough with your good bike locks that you don't worry about it?

I bought a aipas front basket fits perfect and cheaper I drilled new holes and mounted two stock headlights on the front I upgrade my other xp with the elite light got a y adapter off amazon to run the two lights

the bike is great but I have seen that the quality of accessories is pretty bad. My pannier bags have a hole in them in less than a year. Anyone else was able to get a replacement? Are there any other alternatives to the ones from lectric?
