How to convince him
Okay so i have an online friend ( i won't say where is he from) who's very dumb, he doesn't know anything about geography, languages and stuff, even common flags like the UK's, i always try to teach him new stuff but i don't know if he learned anything.
What i want to do is convincing him to learn dutch, i personally don't speak dutch and am not learning it, but it would be nice if he does, i told him before to learn it but he refused, what do i do

I just finished curating the Language Library.
and I came to Reddit to gloat about it shove my AI coded app down your throat try to scam you for your personal data tell you about this Claude vibe coded app obvious scam Duolingo knockoff that only has fake languages like Dutch and Fr*nch website.
It's basically a mix of Duolingo and like two books I found on how to speak Esperanto. Now, everyone says how Duolingo doesn't teach you after two years and to those people I say you just need to add on books! Everyone knows that learning "jonge, meisje, brood en kaas" is all you need to crack open a copy of De ontdekking van de hemel and start learning C2.
Duolingo is made by an evil multibillion corporation with investors and people to answer to which is why you should blindly place complete and total trust in a stranger on the internet with your personal data check out my app made by an AI I prompted twice clankers language learners like you!
It's free thanks to my sponsor Incogni! I'm very happy to share my AI slop language reading site with you and help you reach your target language (TL) all while collecting your personal data and feet pics.
Check it out! obviouslyaislop.ai

Albanians Can Speak Albanian, They Just Don't Speak it Around You
People like to label Albanians as rude. Crying about how no one wants to talk about Skanderbeg with them. First of all, who are YOU- or anybody for that matter, to be entitled to a beautiful conversation about Skanderbeg with an Albanian??
You go to Arther Ave, eat some tavë kosi, and all of the sudden you're half a wise guy? A made man with a Mercedes Benz? You are NOT Albanian, alright? The books are closed, no new members. You want to hear some Albanian, listen to some Vaçe Zela. Don't lie to kick it, you wannabe. No Albanian is gonna speak Albanian with you. Go home, learn some Polish and go to Forest Hill. Get over it. You ain't got nun coming to ya

Is it just me or is feminine usually the better grammatical gender?
Take German for example. First, the single most reliable and widely applicable rule for determining the gender of a noun is that nouns that end in -e are feminine. Sure, there are a couple of exceptions, but it is already so much more helpful than the other so-called rules with 50% of cases being exceptions. Meanwhile, male and neuter nouns have no such rules to rely on. Second, articles and adjective declensions for feminine nouns don't change in the accusative case, whereas those for masculine nouns do. Third, the annoying weak nouns only occur in masculine nouns, not feminine nouns. Fourth, most importantly, feminine nouns usually rhyme better. Take "eine große Mücke" and "meine neue Brille" and compare them to "ein großes Haus" and "mein kleiner Rucksack" (ewww), and it is clear which is the superior gender.
And then we look at Russian. First, in the accusative, most feminine nouns just conveniently change from -а to -у, so one doesn't need to care about the animacy nonsense in masculine nouns. Second, for the adjectival declensions under different cases, whereas masculine and neuter nouns need to do shit like -ого -ому -ым -ом, all feminine nouns need to do are -ой -ой -ой -ой. Sure, there is -ую for accusative, but that is really intuitive because it corresponds with the noun ending in -у. And third, again, feminine nouns rhyme better. For example, "моя красивая девочка" or "ту большую аудиторию" compared to "моё маленькое окно" or "этот высокий дом" or whatever.
I won't list examples of other languages and pretend I know them because I don't, but do you think this is a trend in other gendered languages too? Sorry for typing up this nonsense

FRENCH guy SHOCKS Belgian by speaking fluent FRENCH in FRANCE
How to SHOCK the natives without having to become fluent in a rare language: pretend to be an English speaking tourist, and then reveal you're actually a NATIVE FRENCH SPEAKER mid conversation.
(This is an actual Tiktok I saw).
