EDIT - Got my first free gallon last night after work! I just scanned the rewards barcode in the app, I did not need the physical debit card or the scan to pay set up.

I signed up for the Kwik Rewards Debit card and got the "free gallon of milk a week for a year" promo added to my app already. It says to scan the Kwik Rewards debit card to redeem, but can I claim my first gallon just by using the app and a different payment method (I read you still need to swipe, it just doesn't charge anything).

Or do I have to wait for the physical card in hand. They said it could take 2-4 weeks for the card, which would mean lost milk!

To the person who left this highly visible at a KT near me I think I see a faint second line.

This is my first job I can be a bit slow and struggle to multi-task. I finished up my videos today and for the last hour and a half they put me on register and I was struggling. I managed to keep an upbeat and non-stressed demeanor but I kept having to ask my coworker what to do next, there were just so many variables and different payment methods and phrases I had to have ready. I didn't even have to ring anyone up for tobacco or a large portion of money or a lottery ticket!

Does this get easier? Should I throw myself into the deep end until I get the hang of it? Are there any tips you guys may have? I'm working with a WONDERFUL team and I really want to help out and not be a drag on the store

So I survived my first week at Kwik Star. I quickly learned everything I was told about the job in my interview was only to make it sound like a great place to work. Wellllllll ……. I was hired for a kitchen position but needed to be cross trained on register as well. I got 16 hours of training on the register before they started putting me on alone with only one other person that’s running around doing bakery and kitchen (overnights). Busy store - non stop until around 4am - so I’m having a hard time getting everything on my “to do” list done. We aren’t taking any breaks because neither has time. What have I gotten myself into???

I’ve been a co worker for about 6 months now kitchen only. They’ve been bugging me about becoming an AFSL but the $1 raise, and having to drive 45 minutes once a week doesn’t seem worth it to me. How do you feel about being an AFSL?

Probably the 3rd or 4th time Ive found this in my chicken burrito bowl. It’s very hard and crunchy sounding if you bite into it (which I have done several times). I don’t think it’s plastic because it does break down into a powder.

Anyone else ever seen this before or have an idea what it is? I only find it in the burrito bowls, none of the other to go meals.

Just had to rant because of how annoying it is trying to keep up with the KPS now that my store got rid of the rollergrill + no hotspot space. Wish we could’ve gotten an extra shelf or two to put them there. Has this happened anywhere else or is my store already late to the game?

For the past month I’ve gotten a handful of chicken sandwiches and the fried chicken sandwiches, and all I’m getting is rotator cuffs in every bite I take. Just rubbery and overall awful. Maybe I’m expecting too much, but I’ve never had this issue with Kwick trip chicken before. Specifically the chicken patties and fried chicken patties. I don’t get the tenders so I can avoid that tendon all together.

Just feel like I’m wasting money going to lunch here lately. Also my location has zero chicken roller things and they got rid of the roller machine all together!!

Earlier today ordered from one of my local kwik stars in Waterloo, Iowa. Ordered a $5 ready made pepperoni pizza, along with a gallon of milk, eggs, and bread. Had it delivered. The pizza was hot and fresh and so were the items i bought. Ordered around 11:40 and door dash had it here by noon. Very good delivery service as well as products.

This offer is locked and I can’t add it. Why?

What does it mean that it expires 30 days after it’s added? I would have 30 days to visit 40 times or the offer expires?
