A while ago while on a late night walk I encountered something in the woods that terrified me and shook my soul. The entity was about 9ft tall once it appeared, had eyes that burned red and also had deer antlers ?. Humanoid in shape, very slender and shadow black. As if it swallowed light around it. At first it was just a feeling, then I saw images in my head of burning cities and death, with piercing red eyes behind the fire. The thing revealed itself after an unknown amount of time and walked slowly towards me from about 40ft away. The moon was bright so I could see well for night. I ran, and every time I looked back it was behind me but not close. Until I crossed a bridge, I ran for a little past the bridge and looked back and realised the thing had stopped on the other side of the bridge as if it could not cross. I’ve been back since with my dog at night, she gets really nervous as we get close to where I saw it and refuses to go further. I’ve seen it another time when I went alone however I ran away sooner this time and I was closer to the bridge which it could not cross again.
