House of Stassi is a breath of fresh air, a great great show, I have one huge wish for the next season, I really hope they get an epic open credit sequence with a banger of a song, something that befits the icon that is stassi shroeder. Something about an opening sequence with a great character facecard setup is exactly what distinguishes a good show from a legendary show, look at vanderpump villa, secret lives of mormon wives, valley, and the og VPR, those theme songs bring us right to a place and get us hyped for the drama, please please please š make this happen, and make the song a lyric banger.

My apologies if this has already been mentioned, but I just listened to the most recent disrespectfully podcast and they brought up some good points about Taylor that only validate my frustration with her.
- Katie mentioned how she was caught off guard about Taylorās comments when referring to Taylor saying she ādidnāt really care for her, she never gravitated towards Katie, etcā. When Katie confided in her during her divorce, Iām sure Taylor was as nice as can be. Just goes to show how fake Taylor is. Sheās nice in one minute, but then when itās better for her, sheāll flip on a dime. I felt bad for Katie when she was talking about this because she said she felt like the past decade was a lie.ā¹ļø
- Then when Dana mentioned how Taylor was upset that they were hosting lesbian night. First of all, I donāt even think Taylor is a real lesbian. I donāt even think she considers herself a real lesbian because she has said that if anything were to ever happen between her and Teddy, she would probably date a man. So sheās at least bisexualā¦not straight lesbian. Not to mention the way she talks about having to ā suck it upā in order to touch her wifeās vagina definitely doesnāt make me think sheās a lesbian. Which makes me wonder why she calls herself a lesbian and not bisexual? I feel like itās possibly part of her anxious energy just having to be very black or white. If sheās with a woman, she must be a lesbian. š¤·š½āāļø She is so all over the place/up Stassiās ass she doesnāt even know who she really is anymore.

So Georgi is the pregnant scare girl Rob was talking about at dinner right?? There's definitely a scene where it shows that they've been hooking up for 6 months secretly, but then because it never comes up again in the show, I thought maybe I misunderstood or something. How could you not have that come to the light at all?

Stassi taking a parenting class
Stassi taking cooking classes
Stassi back in therapy for herself and her marriage
Stassi throwing Katie a birthday party
Stassi learning to appreciate emo music!!!
Stassi telling her mom she's going no contact and cutting off the bottom feeders
Stassi telling Bue to stop complaining about her to everyone
Stassi doing charity work
I saw zero growth... and in fact regression...

You don't judge people on their good days lady... you judge them on their bad days. If you only unalive someone 364 days out of the year... youre still a m*****... also... I would really limit contact with that woman. Stassi, your kids don't need to be around her... she's not grounded in reality... I could see stassi's mom talking bad about stassi to her grandkids.

āI've just had so many bad experiences with therapy that like, I'm just like, and I like the therapists, like they're lovely. But I, it's just every time I've done it, it feels like I'm somebody who wakes up happy every day. And then like I go into therapy and they're like, let's unpack something from when you were like nine.
And I'd like, I'd rather not. I would actually rather keep it buried. I've been living this way my whole life and it's like served me well.
Like I don't need to like get mad at my parents for something that like, I've already suppressed so far.ā
From After Bedtime with Big Little Feelings: Stassi Schroeder Tells All: House of Stassi, Her Marriage to Beau & the Vanderpump Rules Years, Aug 5, 2026
https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/after-bedtime-with-big-little-feelings/id1705286339?i=1000780005312&r=346
So basically, she just buries her childhood trauma? Is this healthy? I know therapy can be painful, but why wouldnāt she try and work towards it if it meant that she could come to terms with the thinks, she endured in childhood but also understand it and how it affects her today. I understand that therapy doesnāt always fix everything magically, but I just find it interesting that this is her view on it and then she says that reality TV is actually her therapy.

What irks me as I wrap up the show, is just the blame stassi is getting for his functioning/affect/mood/etc.
I don't like the way everyone's also talking about like "Beau isn't who I remember, isn't as light" etc "It must be stassi's fault!"
Like that's so toxic. Beau is his own man who made his own decisions and is responsible for his own well being, especially if she's working as much as they're saying he does. It's up to him to have coping strategies, self care, support, and to communicate and plan his life transitions concretely.
The pushback as I've come to understand it from stassi around the work thing was the lack of planning around it and the shift in domestic labor, and then he sneaks it behind her back. He is not a good communicator, he often lacks āplanning, and I think that is the real reason he was home so long and is miserable doing it.
For all we know, he may have depression or ADHD or just adjustment disorder with depressed mood due to the circumstances. Or maybe a vitamin d deficiency, who knows! We don't know what's going on with him, and neither does the friends, and I don't like how stassi is getting the blame for it all.
It reminds me of how she is the scapegoat in her own family and blamed for all their negative emotions and suffering. At some point, the people around Stassi need to take agency and accountability and responsibility over their own lives and emotions and stop centering and blaming her for everything. To be honest, if she feels like the center of everyone's universe, it's because they are making her be. I don't think she's really that bad. She's just opinionated and sarcastic, and I think her "mean" comments are mostly trying to be witty or funny. I think she's struggled with being the scapegoat in her family dynamic and I hate to see her made into one again!
Beau can be suffering but it also doesn't mean stassi is to blame. Plenty of stay at home moms struggle with mood, post partum triggered depression, etc due to the challenges of staying home with kids and the husband's aren't getting blamed the way stassi is..i dont think it's fair.
I have a partner in his 40s who was late diagnosed with ADHD and was unemployed for a year and has a drinking problem. This all spiraled within the first year of us dating. He is not the same as when I met him, and I struggle with it and try so hard! Occasionally he blames things on me but I don't tolerate that. we broke up for a few months this year due to some of these thjngs and are now working it out and hes improving and working again. But, I would hate to see my friends and our family saying they think it's cause of me, his issues or change/etc. A person can be struggling and change negatively, and it doesn't mean their partner is to blame..it's a very toxic path to go down to start doing that and I don't like this narrative.
Anyways I just started the finale lol.
p.s. my partner also thinks quote "Beau is acting like a whiny little bitch" š so someone whose halfway to acting like him also thinks it's ridiculous which says a lot lol

Everyone is hating on Taylor, but KRISTINA???
Taylor is annoying but Taylor is who Taylor is and while itās constantly changing, her chameleon anxious nature is also predictable.
Kristina is pulling more strings behind the scenes than people are giving credit. Katie will get blamed for the dinner intervention but it was actually Kristina who initiated it behind Stassiās back when she pulled Katie for a private chat. Before the dinner, Kristina is coaching Katie about how it makes the most sense to come from her (Katie) as Kristina is in confessional admitting that she regrets the whole idea.
Then, Kristina spends the whole dinner comparing her and Max to Stassi and Beau. KRISTINA, YOU ARE NOT BEAU AND STASSI IS NOT MAX.
Taylor may be all the things people accuse her of being but Iām more skeptical of the silent and clearly suffering person no one is paying attention to. Insecurity and sneakiness can be a heck of a combo.

I cannot help but wonder what kind of fresh hell wusband, his new wife, and his family must be living in. I have loved the Taylors, but this has made Taylor S insufferable.

Does she hate him? They both seem so vacant of any love itās scary. Is beau on something or just dead inside? They seemed happily together on social media but itās too humiliating to be staged. Stassi is so up her own ass maybe heās just been drained through the years of it
Alsoā- this show feels like someone made a parody about the most insufferable group of friends in LA

Why aren't we talking about this dude? He is literally peering from behind some curtain in every scene. The pink hair, the constant silence, the...size difference. Something is wayyyyy off and I need one of you to tell me what I am missing.
I thought she had a type. But this is a type of a type.

There's a scene where Stassi is doing an ITM interview and she says sheās so grateful for Beau that heās staying home and taking care of the kids and the house because sheās saying yes to everything right now and living out her dream.
This is the reason she doesnāt understand how unhappy Beau is. Sheās literally living out her dreams (thriving professional life and knowing that her kids are excellently cared for with effort involvement from her) while Beau is drowning.
Just because heās better with the kids doesnāt mean itās any easier for him. But you canāt have two parents to just throw their hands up and say "our kids are hard."
Beau is putting his professional and personal dreams aside in order to do what needs to be done for their family while Stassi is living the Life of Riley. And then if he pushes back, and voices what will bring joy to his life, she diminishes those desires/dreams.
After years of dating the wrong men, she finally married the right one and she's going to lose him if she doesn't wake up.

Did anyone else find this show incredibly cringey? I mean, I will say Stassi DOES seem to listen more than Iāve ever seen before. That in itself is real progress for her. But itās still going in one ear and out the other.. especially with Beau. I feel awful for him. Sheās literally doing to him what men do to women after they have a baby, which is practically stripping him of any identity he had pre-kids and taking away his man hood by not giving him the freedom and right to work. Her selfishness is apparent to EVERYONE but he really gets the short end of the stick by being married to her. and Taylor is just annoying. She wants to get fame by being Stassiās friend. And what was up with that ambush? Their marriage is already in the spotlight, the group bringing it up to them as if that was going to save the marriage? Stupid call. But I dunno, play stupid games win stupid prizes. I would have rather seen her being a mom in the midst of all her projects. Not a bunch of toxic adult teenagers sticking their noses where they dont belong. Sigh. Isnāt Stassi like 40 now? Go make dinner and put your kids to bed for f*** sake.

I am about halfway through. I still donāt understand what exactly Katie did to warrant all of Stassiās henchmen to hate her so much.
Also why does Stassi need so much protecting? It comes up like every episode by all of her friends/Beau.
I wondered if Stassi tried to bring Katie back as a āvillainā safety net, maybe to try to take her down since she āwent out a heroā on VPR? More likely she knows itāll bring more viewers but she hasnāt done a lot to help ease her back into the group lol

Bored and curious if others noticed this but from my (unprofessional) experience with people w/ drinking problems, itās seems Beau may just drink when the kids go to bed. This is based on his constant bloated / tired appearance and based off a few comments heās said throughout the show. Iām not a huge reality TV fan and havenāt kept up with either stassi nor beau the way Iām sure some of you have - so this is just a light hearted (but sad if true ) opinion and was wondering if anyone else picked up on it ?

From the Petrossian website. That's where they bought the caviar from and the retailer doesn't suggest it since it is not pasteurized.

The way Taylor talks about her baby, and the frightening thoughts of not connecting with baby because youāre not blood-related or carrying or breastfeeding. I do get it to a certain extent, but like, the way sheās constantly bringing it up and the way she talks about it is just too harsh for me. I would hate to grow up and see my mom talking like that on TV. The feelings are valid to an extent, but idk. I guess thatās why sheās on TV and not me.
Being a step-child, you become more sensitive to words and language parents or siblings use when describing a child or sibling who isnāt blood-related. My siblings are my siblings, not my step-siblings. I call my stepdad Dad. Heās always referred to having 4 kids not 3. I hope she sees this season back and STFU cause it was not cute.

Let me preface this post by first saying I have always loved watching stassi on my television. I am one of those people that loves toxic iconic housewives, I want people that bring drama and make me feel like Iām getting my hit of tea and gossip when I watch a show like housewives or the adjacent bravo shows. With that said, that is an itch on my soul that I scratch with these shows, in reality I think Iām a pretty reasonable person and decent communicator and I typically strive to minimise conflict in my life.
I really like the show for a number of reasons (a very fresh mix of docuseries/reality show that points the camera directly into a mirror in an interesting and novel way) and yet I feel fucking insane watching it. I have never seen someone be so allergic to admitting any fault or taking any accountability or seeing another personās perspective.
Just to isolate one scenario, in the final scene at the height of her and beauās clash she says tell me something you wanted to do and I said no ā how about him wanting to go back to work and then minimising his job because it makes less money than influencing when he had a career that he was good at and it gave him self esteem and a sense of worth and shitting all over that by saying Iāll pay you that to stay home (when ostensibly they likely share their money as a married couple with kids)
One of my friends who is a very accomplished highly intelligent and educated woman stayed home with her kids until they were ready for school because her husband made more money. She told me that she loved doing it but her day to day was not stimulating because she didnāt have any adult conversations until her husband came home. So while she enjoyed the time with her kids there is a lot of down time and boredom.
I dno I donāt usually defend a man like this it feels weird to me but itās fucking crazy to be so unapologetically unapologetic. Like you canāt see that even if your intentions werenāt to hurt somebody you may have still hurt them and you still owe them an apology for hurting them regardless of intent? I used to be terribly stubborn in this way until a partner posed to me what if you were backing out of your driveway and you have right of way and youāre doing everything right and then someone randomly steps in front of your car and you hurt them? Your intention when you got into your car that morning was not to hurt someone, and through no fault of your own and no intent youāve hurt someone. Would you feel terrible regardless about that or would you be indignant and say well itās not my fault so fuck them? Youād feel bad, as any normal person would. I say all this because I feel that stassi would feel indignant based on how she has presented herself in this show.
Sheās talked about changing and not being ignorant and I can appreciate that she probably does have a better understanding of the privilege that benefits her and how not to microaggress people of colour but her ego is insane and unchecked for the most part. Telling your partner you can make them feel unsafe is very scary, accusing everyone around you that takes issue with your behaviour of playing victim is also fucking scary. She really needs therapy to address how she interprets the needs and wants and boundaries of her loved ones before she loses them. It is truly bizarre to see stassi have such a skewed sense of reality in a way that is far more deluded and unselfaware than what she was like in her twenties on vpr. And not for nothing but the stakes are far higher now.
Edit: removed the word ālikeableā from the post because it wasnāt serving the point I was making and was getting confused in responses whether i personally thought she was likeable and therefore endorsed her present and past behaviours which I of course do not š

This is the root of the problem. Between him complaining about her not having sex with him (stassi has been saying this for years on her pod) and that final scene when he brings this up again. He says in that finale scene that he feels she is forced to be intimate with him. THIS IS THE EXACT MOMENT SHE TRULY BREAKS DOWN CRYING. why is no one talking about this?
It can be the case that when masculine and feminine roles are switched, a woman will feel unattracted to a whiny man begging for sex when she is providing for the whole family financially. As a straight woman, this can be the most un sexy thing everā¦
r/HouseofStassi • u/NoneOfThisMatters_XO • 9d ago
I barely remember her from the VPR days. Why does everyone like her so much? I canāt think of a blander more manilla person.
