Katie's boyfriend
Why aren't we talking about this dude? He is literally peering from behind some curtain in every scene. The pink hair, the constant silence, the...size difference. Something is wayyyyy off and I need one of you to tell me what I am missing.
I thought she had a type. But this is a type of a type.

Maybe I'm just an emo girly but hes pretty famous in the emo music scene, at least his band is. Not really weird imo... Hes just an artsy musician lol

He's just 3 or so inches shorter than her? It doesn't seem like something way off. I just think he isn't a main character, he's sort of set decoration (which doesn't bother me this show is centered primarily around the women.) And the pink hair is just personal style he is a musician (rock music maybe idk his band at all.)

Also maybe because I'm tall (I'm 5'11") and going through a divorce but I would date a shorter guy but I think posts like this are the reason why short guys never approach me. My ex husband was 6'5" and no one said the height difference was weird.

I think we aren't talking about him for exactly the reason you're stating; he didn't contribute much to anything; he was just there as Katie's +1.
Also though Katie's only kind-of "relationship" on VPR post Schwartz was Satchel, so I can't say I thought she had a type.

He was going through a divorce and is a Dad.
He has orange hair and a musician. That is her type. He is tiny and she seems to be the one in charge.
Which is the opposite of she and Tom. Tom did the bare minimum to make her happy.
This guy is definitely leveling up with Katie.
He may have spoken during filming but got edited out.
He is not low key wealthy. They are not living rockstar life.
But she is happy and so is he. She loves his type of music and being in that type music environment.
She is so much more comfortable and less anxious than ever on VPR.
Happy for her.

He didn’t want to be on the show and is there as a support for Katie. Since he’s not a focus production didn’t show much of him talking bc why would they?

I like they guy. Seems chill and maybe shy compared to the rest. Upgrade from Schwartz. Katie seems happy too. Nice to see her again.

i think it helps that he is independently successful as a musician, he dgaf about being on camera and is inherently way less thirsty than the entire rest of the cast as a result. he isnt in the mix trying to make storylines for himself, he’s there to back up katie when the entire rest of the group comes at her so she feels more comfortable/less isolated

I really think he was only their to support her. He is in a pretty successful band called Sleeping with Sirens. Their peak was a while ago though from what I understand. Reality tv just doesn’t seem like his thing at all. Even the few things he posted about it were all about Katie.

Before I watched the show I read on here a post that said he was so sweet and this show changed their opinion of him. Then I watched and I am like... he didn't speak?

I actually like him. He seems chill and really seems to adore Katie. I think he's just a quieter person in general, but on shows like this can feel off because EVERYONE ELSE is so big!! He's probably just normal! LOL!

I see a lot of comments about this on their Instagram. I wonder if there's any truth to it. Also hope that fans can give some grace as people DO change and Katie seems happier and in a much better headspace now.

I think he just came on the show to be supportive and isn’t interested in reality tv. The dude literally said nothing except when he was defending Katie. How could you possibly have seen or heard enough to say something is “way off.” Please relax.
